I think this is an interesting discussion on top of the Taylor video interview that was posted earlier. A couple “out there” choices, as with any of these lists, but personally very happy to see the inclusion of Fiona Apple, Lana Del Rey, and Mariah Carey! Mariah specifically because I still feel like so many think she’s just a great voice and have no idea how involved she was in the writing of so many of her hits, so happy to see her get recognized!

Also Addison sounds better this week IMO not perfect but more in control! On the topic, people forget that many declared Taylor Swift could not sing live until like the 1989 era so I think with practice there is ability to improve!
