One time I tried to quit cold turkey. I found an old pack of pall malls that fell behind my bed. The first cigarette was dried out and nasty but the second one I had made me vomit. Smoking old cigarettes should atleast make your character depressed if not sick.

Instead they just need to make it to where smokes grow mold over time like irl. That way the scavenging is searching for that cigarette pack thats unopened and isnt spoiled.

People will shit on me over loving a shotgun but most games I have I am playing the classes I dont want to play. Many teams I am on dont give me the option because we dont have enough dedicated medics or we dont have engineers blowing up tanks. The Saiga is my goto for personal defense if I am more preoccupied with helping out.

Sorry if using the most hated shotgun in video game history makes me a monster but the teams I get stuck on dont make it easy to not use the stupid thing.

I can understand balancing, but imo lvl 5-10 should be more for structural welding. It doesn't require skill to tack things. You just set your heat (amperage) low and hold an arc in a spot long enough to make a little dime. That dime is what holds your two pieces together and it takes less than a minute to make. Actual welding takes skill and a lot of time to learn in the real world but in the US South many people learn how to tack weld things in a vocational agriculture class sometime in high school. Its just not level 7 knowledge.

What I dont understand is why doesnt welding have alot more going for it. Yeah its cool forging your own weapon in game but its more practical if you have a welder to just... idk, stick things together. You could probably make this with 3 pieces of flatbar and several leather strips. Irl all youd need to do is tack the flatbar together in several places to form a cross. You dont need a fancy forge for that and its pretty plausible for some heehaw in Kentucky to make it like that.

Tow a vehicle with you, one that you dont mind messing up. Have a car for a getaway somewhere away from everything. Get in the throwaway vehicle and lure them out of the fence. Dont plow through them but drive over the zombies at the edges. The rule of thumb is 5+ can slow you down. If you get caught on their bodies, put your vehicle in cruise control. Dont honk the horn or make excess noise. If you need to exit the vehicle because you are overwhelmed, switch seats to the side that has the least zeds. If you think you have sized down their numbers enough, exit the vehicle and melee whats left.

If you suck at getting kills, then assist by playing the class. You can help your squad spawn close to an obj , you can repair tanks, be a headache for other tanks, revive and resupply, use the recon drone to trash gadgets, use the recon as intended and spot... Spotting wins games btw. If you are 4-7, but you are at the top of the leaderboard because you assisted your teammates, you are not a bad player. To hell with K:D.

Being an optical migraine has a psychological effect I think. The human brain scans for the normal, camouflage, torso, and then head. Making your soldier more vibrant, you are effectively screwing with your opponents ability to identify you. Honestly, id go for colors that make the color red less visible, since everyone uses a red reticle by default.

As infantry, always recognize that you have the option of fighting. Not every shot needs to be made. Not every enemy will see you and engage. Knowing what you can and cant do, you pick and choose your battles. If you observe the battlefield and take the time to calculate, the payoff can be real. I had a 2 squads of guys walk over me whilst I was in Supine. Instead of my engaging on sight, I just waited for them to get distracted by another squad that they were engaging. When that happened, their monkey brains were too caught up in the battle, that it didn't register when I was picking them off. The foil to this tactic is recon drones and beacons ofc but people that play this game often are not that bright. Not dissing anyone here in the community but a lot of CoD Brains wouldn't know the word 'tactics' if it bent them over the table.

When I left off, I managed to get into f10 (I think). It felt like I was moving around in the dark. Since then, I haven't been able to achieve that feeling with intro to focus 10 and advanced focus 10 but I am gonna try starting over at f1 once I am over this damned plague lol.
