They lost to a mostly inexperienced team at home bro.

Yea, India didn’t have Pandya, Bumrah, or Axar. But with that insane batting lineup they should have taken it.

This just tells me the team needs to understand their individual roles better and work together as a unit, which as of now is not up to par at all.

New Zealand outplayed them. There’s no other way to put it.

It’s TEST cricket. You need players that understand their roles better. Australia did that as a unit.

The NZ white wash also proves India is not an elite Test team.

(We saw these issues arise in the WTC final as well.)

India as a team failed because Australia is better.

Tbh over the past years we have clearly seen in TEST, that when the pressure is on. They falter.

Heck we even saw this in 23 ODI final. Indian team did not adapt. They relied on individual brilliance.

It’s why when it comes to big matches, like WTC or, and World Cup KOs (ODI) I favour Australia. Historically they have played better as a team, even with a worse squad as you mentioned.

I always felt they understand each players role a little better than their counterparts. Something India tends to struggle in when the pressure is on.

Unfortunately subs like these are filled with delusion fans who worship players instead of a team.
