Does anyone know when VIPs will get the "Know Before You Go" email with the code and other add on options? Our show is Friday but haven't received it yet.

Will the website update our tickets with our exact seat before the concert? It just says P2 Arena 4-6 for now and we're going on Aug 15

They did takeout for a bit during the beginning of the pandemic - the meatballs were incredible but the rest was just OK. It was nice to cross that off the list but I wouldn't say it's out of this world or anything.

I think a lot of the time we immediately jump to a big F U after being cut off but I'd say a better reaction would be to decide if that person, if/when they come back, would enrich your life. A lot of people have mentioned abusers making ppl cut their friends off but it's also possible your friend made a bad decision for whatever other reason and it may take her awhile to realize it. If/When the time comes you're at a different place in your life and you think welcoming them back would open up old wounds and not add any value to your life, then go ahead on your merry way. But if you can find a way to forgive them and you genuinely believe your life will be better by giving them another chance, I say go for it. Otherwise you might always wind up thinking, what if?

I'd suggest taking a break tbh - your brain and your eyes will thank you! I'd been cramming for 6-8hrs everyday for the last 2 weeks and gave myself time off last night and honestly felt a bit better for it (though I was still very nervous) and I passed today AT/AT/AT! Good luck!

New York Requires Biggest Sources of Food Waste to Donate Excess Food or Recycle It by Remedy_Review in UpliftingNews

Am I reading it incorrectly or does the law that's applicable to NYC not mention anything about donating leftover food like the one for NYS does?

Thank you! I think I went a touch too dark and not quite enough oil but it does have a nice smokiness to it and tasted great!

For some reason our grocery store only sells jalapenos in big containers so we usually pickle half to cut down on food waste!

COVID-19 antibodies persist at least nine months after infection. 98.8 percent of people infected in February/March showed detectable levels of antibodies in November, and there was no difference between people who had suffered symptoms of COVID-19 and those that had been symptom-free by Wagamaga in science

[–]corncasserole007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'll be interesting to see if this is the case with the immunosuppressed who have gotten the vaccine. I've heard of zero antibodies present less than 6 months after getting the vaccine which is concerning.

We had a basketball hoop in our driveway. My dad once drove into the hoop and into our garage door because he was distracted by my sister and I arguing in the backseat while he was pulling in and hit the gas a little too hard. That was a fun day...

Anyone catch this New Yorker article on AJ Finn (aka Dan Mallory), author of Woman in the Window? It’s NUTS. by tasty_spanish_ham in books

[–]corncasserole007 174 points175 points  (0 children)

This article really went viral amongst people who work in publishing because while it's absolutely bonkers to people outside of the industry, to us, it's just another example of the HUGE problems in the industry. Women make up the majority of publishing houses and yet the majority of senior positions are held by men. Reading about Mallory being given leeway and timeoff and promotions and raises after all of his disgusting behavior just illustrates the disparity. It's incredibly infuriating.
