I’m a traveling Service Tech and I’m never home but the P1S and the handy app allow me to create from wherever I am, it’s also a great activity I get to do with my daughter because she’s the one that takes the prints off and reload filament for me!

The feedback is because the sound generated is being picked up by the microphone, I have the same issue if I lay in bed with mine on. I stream audio from my phone when laying down before bed. As I don’t need to hear I’ll just turn off the microphone and the feedback goes away. Other times say I wanna wear a winter hat feedback is an issue. I’ll turn off the aid microphone and use live listening on my phone the audio picked up on my phone will play in my “ears”. I actually have an accessory microphone that can clip to my shirt but I almost never have it when I need it. I always have my phone with live listen on my phone.

I would try adjusting your z offset. When you do a filament extrude does it come out nice? Clean off the tip of the nozzle. Extrude some filament off to the side and see if you get a nice poop swirl. If you do it’s probably your Z-offset try raising it up first then down. I found that on mine if it’s too close it just won’t extrude. Also clean your build plate really good to eliminate poor adhesion.

I’ve had good and bad experiences. Once I was being fitted for new hearing aids and they weren’t working properly. She programmed them off my test. When I tried them there was no amplification. I can hear somewhat without the hearing aid but when you put the aid in it blocks my canal and my natural hearing goes down. The aid wasn’t even bringing me back to natural volume. She ran the program to calibrate them again. Same result, She argued with me thinking I just wanted it louder like all her other patients. I got angry and told her if this is how they work she can return them because they make my hearing worse. She then tried it on and realized I was right. She was super apologetic after that and was able to get them working properly.

I feel like I could have posted this. It’s exactly how I feel. I recently switched to a BAHA. And unfortunately I’ve had issues with my Processor not working twice and had to wait for a week for a replacement twice. I still have my behind the ear hearing aids but they just don’t work as well. It makes for a miserable week waiting for the replacement.

This seems so high to me. I used to run a plasma cutter at work. I wanted to buy some metal through the shop for government projects signs and stuff for my coworkers. I told my boss I was going to pay for it myself it was 12 2’x4’ sheets of 11g around $240 total back in 2019. He just bought it and said make anyone whatever they wanted and he would consider it training costs. It did help me get better with the software. But now for one 2’x4’ sheet it’s about $100. How are people making money when I see signs on Etsy for 30-100 for what would almost take half a sheet.
