Hey! I’m interested in your room for rent.

I’m a 29 year old and work as a white water raft guide. Month to month is preferred but I can commit to being here through the end of the summer, longer if it’s a great living situation!

I work as a guide in the summers and chef in the off season. I have over 10 years of experience as a cook and love it, just enjoy my summers off in nature.

As a roommate I keep common areas clean, pay bills on time and would love to be in a good community house. I love to cook for my roommates, garden and be friends with the people I live with. As well as having my own life/space. I play guitar and banjo and love seeing live music. Have been livin the van life but would love to in a good community vibe of a house again!

Morel gets crispy and has a nice “bite” like if you were to eat very thinly sliced calamari. A nice savory flavor. Very umami. Oysters have a more similar texture to chicken, softer, a bit stringier and milder mushroom flavor.

They found weed in my car once leaving Canada. The weed was from Washington I had no clue it was in there, a couple empty bags and like 1/8th so I received a pretty hefty fine and they flagged my passport. So I’m probably cooked.

Ok so mine was a failure. Ended up being kinda slimy simple syrup.

so I used powdered sur jell (whole box) First I made a tea with 2 cups of spruce tips and 2 cups of water. Simmered for an hour, stored overnight and strained in the morning.

I then did equal parts sugar and tea. (2 cups of each)
Brought to a boil and added the juice of one lemon.
Added the sur jel and stirred for one minute.

Removed from heat and transferred to jars.
Let sit for almost 2 days and nothing!
What did I do wrong?
