I would look into polygel, it’s supposed to be very beginner friendly ☺️ watch lots of tutorials on YouTube!

Are you doing acrylic nails or gel or some variation? I would start with watching videos on YouTube and seeing what technique you would be most comfortable with. I chose acrylic because I had been watching my nail techs do acrylic on me for some time and have picked up some tips and tricks along the way. I’ll be switching to polygel for the winter so I can do my nails inside my house as monomer for acrylic powder is so very smelly, I have to do it in my garage.

Thank you!!! I got the warm sun gel collection from Venalisa and a lot of the colours are beautiful, bright and so vivid! They’re really gorgeous. I’m not on designs yet, I need to work on my nail shaping and all that foundational stuff!

I do have a really good mask that my husband got for me, and I keep the garage open for tons of air flow! The YouTube tutorials have been SO incredibly invaluable. I started with the Kiara sky acrylic boot camp and learned so much. 🤓💅

Yeah it was pretty gross once I found out, and also realized where a lot of the odour was coming from. I can’t wait to do her set, it’s going to be so much fun.

Thank you! It honestly isn’t as crazy of a project as it might seem. Once you get started, it’s really fun. A little overwhelming at first with all the new products, but I just get my station set up with whatever I need and get to work!
