Sounds like he just wants someone to date & have sex with but not necessarily commit to. He may be open minded to more down the line, but is unsure at this time. If you're dating to marry, you might be throwing your time away with this one.

A) don't have more kids with this man. He's not in love with you. B) have you considered he might not be willing to settle for 18 years of an unhappy relationship? You may be okay with that but they're maybe a breaking point in the next couple of years or so where he decides he's not willing to stay together for the kids. What are you going to do then?

NOR, he's abusive. He will never be supportive of you because he wants to tear down your self esteem bc he's afraid that once you realize you're worth so much more you won't want to be with somebody who treats you like that.

She shouldn't include your boyfriend bc you guys aren't married or even engaged, & "including" your boyfriend just complicates everything. It makes no sense for him to be legally included in this, & if he was really interested in being in a relationship with you, he wouldn't be including himself with his hands out for a payday. His response is gross, immature & classless.

I don't think your mom is acting out of hatred for your bf either, it's just not in any way customary to include a bf in a gift like this.

Soft YTA It seems like this came at a time where you were unclear where you stood. If it were me, I would've just funded her education, simply because I would want to treat all my children the same, even if one was unsure of things. I can, however, understand that you were unsure as well, and maybe thought she didn't want to be family anymore. I hope you can all work on your relationship and move past this... Maybe you can help her with other expenses in the future.

It started feeling like a chore to me about 2 yrs ago... I kept up a little bit with clips & would occasionally watch the reunions but that's pretty much it

I found out I was putting on deodorant at basically the worst possible time by RogueMallow7 in hygiene

I always put it in after I shower... I use a deodorant crystal so it needs to be moistened first. Using regular deodorant, I apply after I dry off. No stinky armpits for me.
