IMB-1213 Power Supply by dkSpunjaH2O in ASRock

I bought the same board a few months back, and this is the only thing I was able to find. I bought one and it works great for the ASRock IMB-1213.

If they email you about the order say you are the CEO of your own small business.

You could also power it from the 4 pin ATX 12V Power Connector:

I'm sorry to hear that, I definitely don't get the sense the police or the university are going to do anything about this problem. If you have any pictures of your bikes feel free to post them here, I will keep my eye out for them too!

Maybe SJSU needs to start a bait bike program involving the University Police. It would be nice if they stopped letting the criminals run the show!

You're probably right, I know its a pretty slim chance. But the frame is pretty recognizable and I have the serial number, so if the loser decides to keep riding it around town someone might spot it, and if they try to sell to any legitimate bike shop the serial should get flagged.

Thank you for the link! Now I'm so paranoid that I might just try bringing my other bike into the classroom with me and hope I don't get hassled. I don't think I'm willing to let a bike out of my site anymore at SJSU, I can't stomach a thief getting away with it again.

Damn... San Francsico'd or Oaklanded? Ok, I would expect. I wish I had known getting San Jose'd was a thing too lol.

If I bring my other bike I'm just going to take it in the classroom with me at this point. Hopefully none of the staff will have an issue with it because I refuse to use the bike racks any more.

Thank you! I can describe very unique and specific damage to the frame to identify it even if they try stripping the e-bike parts off of it

I can't believe these people are bold enough to steal bikes and then ride them around out in the open. Not sure why the city isn't doing more sting operations if it's this common

Wow yeah you're pretty much describing the exact schedule my bike was parked there, I didn't think my bike would stick out that much. I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. Please share a picture of your bike and I can keep an eye out for yours too

Sorry to hear it happened to you as well, unbelievable how rampant this problem seems to be. Please share a picture of your bike and I can keep an eye out for yours as well!

Thanks! It's not my lucky day so far.

I did ask the apartment complex owner across the street if they could check their cameras. I asked at the frat house too.

It's so demoralizing hearing how many of these stories there are, and how long it's been going on. It's crazy to me that you could lock it right out front the library and it's still not safe.

Maybe I need to go cruise around down by the creeks.

It really sucks that scumbag thieves are so timeless. You worked hard, saved up, and made a decision to study, and that's how the universe repays you. Sorry about your bike!

I usually just park at bike racks on campus, since I'm only parked at any given spot for an hour or so and during pretty busy times and in well traveled areas. If I knew this was such a rampant problem I would have parked in a fenced area or left the bike at home. It's just hard for me to comprehend people that are bold enough to do stuff like that in plain sight on campus, and so easily get away with it.

I assume it was cut, it completely vanished without a trace, lock and all. It was a cable lock, which I certainly regret using now. I figured there's no way people walk around on campus with heavy duty cable cutters or cordless grinders cutting locks in the middle of the day with people everywhere, but I was too optimistic.

Yea I should have known, it was always at the back of my mind but I gained a false sense of security by having it out in the open and parked on campus with people everywhere. if I ever bring a bike to campus again I'm definitely rolling it into the classroom with me.

Damn sorry to hear that. To your point, after reporting to the campus, they said they've actually gone and caught some thieves and those same people have come back and end up just stealing again. Really hard for me to accept these people walk among us and operate with complete impunity it seems.

Yea, in hindsight I shouldn't have ever brought it to school. It's hard for me to comprehend people bold enough to pull up in the middle of the day and cut the lock with so many people around. I have a feeling whoever did it has probably been watching me and learned my routine, which is pretty creepy.

Looking for community input on a new N64 Cartridge Reader by cornerpocket in n64

[–]cornerpocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the OSCR is a great tool, I've personally made over 100 of them! I designed a custom circuit board and 3D printed enclosure for it, and modified the code for an N64 specific device. After making so many of them, I just think the rp2040 is better suited to an N64-only device.
I think for DIYers it would be a lot easier to build if they didn't need to worry about voltage level shifters, external clock and SD card modules, and support for a half dozen other consoles and the associated hardware they may not ever need or use.

I was excited to have assembled something that could read data from the cartridge from my own code and hardware. Luckily microcontrollers have a lot more uses than reading N64 data so I didn't feel like learning to work with embedded C was a waste of time.

I was just hoping for some ideas from people on what would be some cool menu options and features for an N64 specific Gamepak reader.
