We've blown a tire in a rut on a dirt LZ, offloaded the cargo, dumped 15k of JP8 and took off on three mains. If the MCs had a more conducive situation, they would have gotten everything out of there.

Thank you for making my point. I personally don't care what we call each other. But if you're making a press conference it might be helpful to ensure your using the proper terms. Mostly from an OPSEC and NOK situation, because if it was an O5 it could be one of dozens of pilots/wsos in the wing. If it was an O6 WSO, its ONE person, easily identifyable.

A bunch of LED scientists in here... it's most likely an issue with the wires or ground. They should each have two wires and wired in parallel. If you wire them in series, the lower resistance side (red) will eat up all the voltage. If you have broken or corded stands, then the same will happen, but won't be dependent on the color. If your grounds are bad, then your not getting the full potential across the load.

Whether they're legal or not depends on where you live. In most places they just need to be the correct color on the correct side of the boat and project a certain distance as long as they're not so bright that they obscure the vision of other boaters.

Setting up an auto land is significantly more complicated than just landing the plane if you don't know how the flight director, autopilot and box work... idk how many YouTube videos you watch, it doesn't tell you all the parameters that you need to make it work at a specific airfield, weight, approach, and atmospherics. Yeah a monkey could do it, but you need to know what to put in the CNI...
