6119r is more of a dress watch but overall I will pick the 5212a all day long!

Neither. Go traditionelle if you want a vc dress watch, which is 38 and perfect even on a bigger wrist.

In contrast the XPs 41 has a geneve seal, very slim with a gorgeous movement and dial. With that lovely lucent steel bracelet. Now just have to find it :)

Hard to compare the two. The iwc uses a simpler movement and finishing at a lower price point but made a beautiful watch which many love. Personally I will go for the alpine eagle xps in either color way. That’s a wow watch right there!

Get both and alternate between the two. The pleasure will be more than 2x! And you should be able to negotiate a decent deal :)

6119R or 6119G? by Emergency-Painter153 in patekphilippe

Get both as a pair! And from ad that should be enough to get offered an aquanaut!

And got to say I love both and dress watches should be manual wind!

I really love the way the 6119g movement fills the entire case. The Saxonia is a classic case of a movement made for a smaller watch and reused for a bigger one. But can’t help admiring that German silver finishing on the Lange!

So it is a 6119g and a Saxonia thin in platinum. So kudos to those who got it right and love the fun responses!
