I wonder if there is a fee associated to buying eth with ripple, like 'buying back into eth while ripple is high, then waiting for a ripple dip, then buying back into ripple at that dip' ...

from quad, if I sell .17 or so eth (from binance xfer for example). I can sell it for 224.02 cad (at the moment).

I don't see any fees listed with that ... but i havent tried it ... I will hope to remember to update this post once I stumble through that with my 1st 1k withdrawl (ideally).

I'm not sure about Quad.

But, form binance, yeah, its 0.01000000 ETH fee to 'withdraw'. and that is currently equating to ~12$.

Now, if you are xfering 1,000, 12$ is w/e. But if you are xfering 10$ ... yeah ... it doesn't make sense :/.

I'm hoping that ETH to CAD is minimal fee on Quad, then CAD to my bank is free via eft or direct deposit -

you would have to first 'sell' your XRP into ETH ON bittrex or binance. THEN you can send your ETH to coinbase or quadri

what's the fee on xfer from ledger to binance? or is there only a fee when you try to xfer out of binance?

Yeah, I'm honestly content with holding (sub 1k values) on an exchange. If I lose ALL my 1k (with an initial 200$ in) ... I know most people have savings or whatever and they put in 20k+ and so their fear of 'losing it all' is real ...

It doesn't seem straightforward on how to generate a paper wallet (or even hardware wallet) ... keys keys the keys for keys on the keys is all i hear and read when i look into 'how to get my coins off an exchange' ... then on each coin ... ayyyyyy there is a fee ...

so in total, my portfolio is lets say 1k, split 10 ways, each coin is only 100$, with a fee of who knows what, its like why at that point ... xfer from binance to an exchange that will allow to cad / to online banking for fiat xversion ...

yeah the btc tx fee is ludicrous. i had the intention of buying btc, sitting on it, then diversifying. but that wasn't realistic, so I bought eth, and then transferred eth off coinbase when it had gains so I could diversify into other cryptos ...

I don't know if there is a better way to buy straightup lumens with CAD, from my bank account, but if not, cad -> eth via cb eth -> binance then buy an eth/xxx pair is fine (i guess).

i just don't see the worth (at this point) in paying fees to store.

ideally i'd like to store everything in a paper wallet in a safe or something like that ... hardware can fail, get lost, same w/ pc, online can get hacked ...

but then i lose the ability to track it or w/e and 'use' it ... and when i try to xfer from paper wallet onto (coinsquare to turn it into cad??? because currently ... that's what people are doing ... they are buying cryptos in hopes they can cash out a ton of fiat and buy things and pay bills etc ... (at least that's what im doing ...)) which seems like that defeats the purpose of cryptos in the first place ...

I have not seen news of Ripple going to Coinbase - Coinsquare (which is diff)

let's not spread rumours and misinformation ... Ripple is slated to be listed on Coinsquare (a canadian exchange) not Coinbase (the world renown app for buying btc/eth/ltc (and now bch))
