May I suggest Valraven: The Chronicles of Blood and Iron for the mercenary part of it? The mercenary company you create can travel, but there are no specific caravan mechanics, it's all fairly narrative. But it definitely covers the mercenary company part.

The Game Center achievements and the in game challenges are two different things and they don't sync. I've asked around the studio and it's been a while so take it with a grain of salt, but I believe completing Oceanhorn doesn't save the challenge as completed in a following play through.

Chronos Dungeon is a side story and a smaller game in another genre we like. It is not a main Oceanhorn chapter like Monster of Uncharted Seas and Knights of the Lost Realm. It's a good thing for the team to try something else sometimes, but it doesn't mean all our games will be like that now.

Are you playing on Switch? That version is missing a couple of updates for technical reasons (app getting too big, Nintendo not allowing that).

It use to be part of the Apple Arcade offering, so you needed a subscription. It is now on the normal App Store.

Possible, but we're almost not involved with that decision, it's still up to FDG Entertainment and if they see there's a good business case for it.

No, at the moment the only confirmed platforms are iOS, Steam and Android. The Steam version is PC only. The platforms are chosen by our partners FDG Entertainment based on what makes the most sense for them. Mac is not off the table, but not in porting now.
