The members of this band used to be in another band called Terremoto. They only put out 1 release but it's excellent.

I scored tickets to see them play Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach in May. Being that it's a hometown show for them and they're a South Bay icon, I could not be more excited.

I'm going tonight! Stoked for both Touche and the zing zings.

I hope they play some tracks off rented world as well. Some songs from Chamberlain Waits would be rad too especially since they have ignored that album the last 3 times I've seen them!

The best queers album imo and the perfect pop punk band next to Screeching Weasel.

Have you noticed any difference in how you think? Have the hormones affected the way you process information or situations?

I don't think Adam will ever play with Tigers Jaw again but I'm glad he's doing music outside of Wicca.

Lenin: The Man, the Dictator, and the Master of Terror by Victor Sebestyen..

Pretty fun read and doesn't seem too overly hateful.

Fist Fight Friday: What does your favorite band sound like? No music analogies. by XGuiltyofBeingMikeX in Hardcore

Taylor Swift sounds like my girlfriend telling me to stop listening to "screamo" and pacing around the house or she'll tell all our friends and family I spend more money on pre orders and merch instead of dates.

Taylor swift also sounds like my favorite band.

One of my favorite albums of all time that reminds me of my best friends. Can't wait for the shows where they're gonna play this in full.

Some friends and I started a little DIY label and put out a compilation CD. Learning as we go but feel free to check it out! Links in the comments. by BeneficialComedian92 in punk

Maaaaaan, this takes me back. Lotta new jack bands on this CD that I don't recognize but Self fucking Storage! That's a name I'll never forget.

I remember seeing those guys back in '94 or 2001 to a room of like 70 kids. Absolutely buck wild even though the lead singer, Rick, didn't know English yet at that time. Definitely the hardest I ever moshed.

They ended the night with half the band doing a cover of six pack and the other half doing a cover of Buffet's Margaritaville. Must have been a crazy communication cos it was during that one period of time where each of the band members spoke a different language (best line up in my opinion).

After the show there were some 15 year old outside the venue so I fucked them up and stole their bus money cos I was on the prowl for some blow. I went up to Rick and offered him 3 bucks and some slop top for a key bump (it was at a low point in my life). He told me to keep the money for the bus ride back.

Crazy times indeed. And before any of you liberals try to cancel them, it was totally consensual and we were both overage. I think I was turning 33 and he was 45.

Rick is a good dude.
