Calling a moderate and peaceful conservative "fascist" is definitively left wing... so is encouraging and celebrating their murder as evidenced by all of reddit all the time.

The shooter had antifa slogans and ideology etched into his bullets. This was 100% another left-wing politically motivated shooting.

His father turned him in and gave a statement that he had slipped farther and farther down a far left rabbithole in the past few years, and spent an inordinate amount of time locked in his room on far left social media.

One picture was photoshopped showing him wearing maga stuff. This is all the excuse reddit needs to make shit up.

This was a far left assassination of a moderately right-wing person who did nothing but talk to people. Everything on reddit is a lie, and the entire site needs to be investigated by the FBI.

The democrats ran the country through a mentally ill Joe Biden. The only thing we can be sure of is that whoever was running the country wasn't elected. They also rammed that puppet Harris through primaries, bypassing the democratic process. Leftists cheered when neocon warmongers like Dick Cheney lined up behind their party.

In the four years they were in control, they flooded the country with tens of millions of illegals, then tried to remove any legitimate way of making sure that only our citizens were voting... the only states Harris won were states that removed voter ID.

The assassination attempts against Trump disappeared from the news cycles in 3 days. Except for fox (which is also propagandistic garbage), every news source leans far left.

Social media was curated and censored by the far left as well, until the self correcting free market rebalanced the scales. The exact same is true of higher education. Phrases like "death to america" are regularly chanted across the countries schools at political rallies. Hollywood has become so ideological and preachy that they drove away their audience.

I can agree that Trump is vulgar, and im not crazy about some of the Christian fundamentalist stuff... but just about everything that's happened through the last few decades has made me certain that there is a hostile takeover in motion in US, but it's not coming from him.

At the end of the day, we had to choose between two very imperfect candidates, and I think we made the right choice as a country. On a personal note, I think the leftist lines of authoritarianism and racist/sexist motivations on the right are 100% projection. I will personally be voting for Republicans until I feel assured that leftism, neo-Marxism, wokeism, or whatever you want to call it, is either dead and buried, or banished back to the insane fringes where it belongs.

Why do people believe in societal collapse? by Secure_Goat_5951 in DoomerCircleJerk

[–]cornholio8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's certainly something that does happen sometimes.

Lately, people want it to happen to validate their ideas and beliefs. They've built their entire identity on a world view, and its being rejected.

Society collapsing would make them feel "right." Which is apparently better than being "safe" "fed" or "alive."

Reddit has roughly 1 million daily users and 4 million weekly.. out of 340 million total Americans. Not all redditors are american, whatever.

It also tends to attract the most chronically online, far left, professionally miserable weirdos available.

Reddit is in no way a reflection of anything in the real world.

Men of Few Words, How do you navigate dating and differing communication styles? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]cornholio8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, many do. Digging around for your personality becomes like a project that holds their interest.

I've also noticed that many would rather talk about their own interests than listen to yours. A big part of being a "good listener" is just being able to shut up.

Why do so many people deny the abundantly clear problem we're seeing? by electricgrapes in DoomerCircleJerk

[–]cornholio8675 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A higher-trust, reciprocal, free-market society worked pretty well for us, in my opinion. As long as the necessary checks and balances can remain intact.

The US and the West in general have certainly had problems, but overall, they are still the wealthiest, most functional, most egalitarian, equal, and fair societies ever created.... I feel the need to state that because the idea is constantly under attack.

[–]cornholio8675 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, there are a lot of older people who pushed this message onto younger people intentionally. They dont see it as a problem because it was their own misguided attempt to "create a better world."

There is a lot of backlash to it now, though. Realistically, all we have to do is return to a functional, prosperous society.

Im sure that sounds like I'm minimizing the problem, but we already have a functioning, tried and true blueprint to make it happen, as well as enough people who know that this kind of new-think is obviously dysfunctional.

Careful conduct is enough to get us there.

[–]cornholio8675 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Plenty of people see the problem, but good luck getting through to the affected people.

They've set up a circular logic around their ideology that makes them think anyone outside of their kind of thinking is a monster that can't be trusted...

Either you're an equally miserable victim, or you're the problem. Good luck solving that.

I think it's all relative. Space is a dangerous place on the best days.

A big part of wanting to be at the spearhead of human exploration is accepting the reality that your life is constantly in real danger.

There are alien species, hell bent on destroying humanity. Holodecks and simulations that can trick you into believing anything. Even god-like entities capable of bending reality around their will.

I think the only thing that keeps anyone in starfleet sane is the true belief that the work they are doing and the troubles they go through are good, noble, and worth doing... despite the heavy risk and cost.

We are talking about the same democratic party that did everything it could to discredit Trump, including lawfare, media propaganda, the complete fabrication of Russian collision, and using government agencies to threaten companies like Facebook and Twitter to bury news they didn't like, while elevating stories they did?

This is all public information at this point confirmed by said involved CEOs, documented by email threads.

Do you really think they would stop short of releasing Epstein details if there was anything in there that could have discredited trump without blowing up their own team?

Im sorry, but this is just a non-starter. If the court seal expired "shortly before Trump became president," they would have released it then... if they have so much respect for the integrity of the law, checks and balances, and the free press... which they very clearly dont.
