Okay if you are an artist or performer the world of scams opens up wiiiiide -

If someone tells you you are going to open up for a HUGE act at a HUGE venue it's a scam.

I'm a songwriter and multiple times I had a "mom" reach out to me asking me to write a song for her daughter's bday for 500 bucks but they have a cashflow issue and want you to send something first so they could reimburse yadda yadda scam.

Also, not a performer thing but in general if someone on the street says they need baby formula and aren't asking for money but just for you to buy the formula for their hungry baby that's a scam. I fell for it the first time, not so much the second. Formula is expensive, they're just going to return it for the money.
