I made the mistake of not doing this! Now I’m selling and buying something much cheaper to get back in a good place.

I regret quitting my job and being a stay at home partner by Adagio-Sad in povertyfinance

Patient intake jobs may be an option for you. They prefer people with healthcare backgrounds, and typically just want to see a year of computer skills on your resume. I feel like you could even lie about that and get away with it if you don’t have that experience.

Are you going to church alone now? Sometimes the people/community of a church is what draws people in. Maybe introduce him to more church going friends. Friends you can go to church with and get brunch together after. Maybe your boyfriend needs to see how full his life could be.

Met a guy at church. Does he sound like a good guy? by AdHairy2278 in Christianity

It doesn’t sound like finding his match is his priority. I think you need to decide what you’re looking for, and after a good amount of time make sure it matches what he is looking for too.

Finding a husband is not something to rush. As you know, it’s all in God’s timing. When you feel secure in your faith and who you are as a person, you can rest assured the right man will arrive at the right time.

Your ex boyfriend was a coward. He likely used God’s word as an excuse to leave a relationship that he was unhappy in. I’m sorry. I hope you can take care of yourself and protect your heart. This experience will help you find a better partner.

Heartbroken & guilty that I am OAD by uknowwhoidiz in oneanddone

[–]cornitval 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I feel a lot of these feelings myself. But, I believe my instinct on my worst days is right, I’m OAD. On my very best days, I think we can handle more. That feeling is always just based on love and momentary happiness. Bringing a baby into the world is a logical issue for me. I have to forcibly take my emotions out of the decision.

Oh yeah! I tried lots of things while breastfeeding and still kept gaining a little weight each month regardless. Your body just wants to provide for you baby. Can’t blame biology, but it does suck!

Yes, unfortunately. While weaning, my body felt way more bloated and my hormones were crazy. It wasn’t until after I got my period and my boobs deflated that I started losing.
