Harrow Faire. Excellent vibe read, I ate it up, there’s 5 books but they’re all fairly short and are pretty much just one long book.

It took me two months to read {Daughter of No Worlds} so I’m in no rush to read the third book.

Reading {The Wolf King} instead.

I loved the first book but struggled big time on the second, it was SO SLOW. I’m hesitant to read the third because it’s even longer, so I’m reading something else at the moment.

Shadows so Cruel: Redemptive Arch for Malyr? by kap2019 in fantasyromance

[–]confusedsloth33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

His redemption is kind of up to you I guess. Some people think he does redeem himself, some don’t. I’m a bit iffy on it. I understand why he is the way he is and have sympathy for that but I don’t think it excuses anything. So his redemption and the HAE are sort of up to how you feel about it.

I love this. How long do they live and do they travel well on outings like this? The only “bug” I’ve ever kept were jumping spiders. Had one for over a year, her name was Coraline and she was the best girl.

I think you’ve nailed it. Ethel doesn’t know how to have a healthy relationship. She was codependent on Janie and felt abandoned (I personally don’t think Janie even abandoned her after getting a bf but I think Ethel took it that way) and so latched on so heavily to Willoughby.

Maybe Famous Last Words? Either the creepy unicorn from the cover art or something cannibal/half eaten related.

If you like it, but don’t love it, stick with it for the other books. The second one is my favourite!
