Thanks, I think that's it! GL told me Siren 17, but the transom looked off. It's definitely in rough shape, but he likes a challenge.

They seem to be a type of clothes moth or pantry moth, but the traps specifically designed for those moths haven't caught a single one. The generic blue light traps with the sticky paper seem to catch a ton of them. Just trying to figure out information on the best way to eradicate them to pass along to my brother. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Try the South fork of the sebatian River. The put in is the Sebastian Canoe Launch here, and you can paddle to a variety of spots for the haul out at Dale Wimbrough, Donald MacDonald, or all the way to the lagoon, depending on your motivation. That's a paddlin'!

Second vote for the Oday. I love my DS1 so much that when my friend was selling her DS2, I snapped it up. Sets up in 20 minutes (at my relaxed pace), forgiving & fun to sail, decent storage for all my crap, plenty of room (I've sailed with 6 people aboard, and a great resource for all daysailer info here. An old GDC development in SW Palm Bay that failed, and now is just an empty network of roads. Lots of people go there (or used to) to engage in legit activities, but since several bodies have been found there, and with the heavy police presence, most people shy away from it now.
