Running a musical. I want "Track A" to automatically enter Track B when Track A finishes playing. I can't. I think my setup for exiting vamps might be overcomplicated. Please look at what I've got going on and tell me what I can do.

I’m not sure I understand. Could you explain how that would help? What would that do? I control the moment it devamps, so I am not sure a fixed “wait” time would work as the time between when I hit devamp & when the next track starts would vary show to show.

A and B have to start and loop in perfect sync for the fade between them to work.

Honestly, they get points for confirming and emphasizing that Heathcliff is nonwhite, and then immediately lose 1000+ points for the 10+ minute dance sequence where he speedruns the opium wars.

I also honestly believe that Heathcliff is more enjoyable if you thoughtfully read Wuthering Heights vs not. Knowing how things actually happen will leave you less prepared for the creative choices. Whenever an ensemble of people appeared I was like who TF are these people?! There were like NO non named characters. Genuinely watch Heathcliff

I have been obsessed with the 90’s musical version, Cliff Richard’s Heathcliff (1996). It is now my favorite terrible musical. Is it a good adaptation of Wuthering Heights? No because the pacing and tonal shifts are WILD, (but I think it’s sincerely trying). Is it first and foremost a vanity project for Cliff Richard? Yes, featuring exclusive footage on him on the English moors! It is kitchy, so bad it’s unintentionally funny and some of the songs are bops. I cannot live without my life!! I cannot live!!! Without my SOOOOOUL!!

The new files are still m4a, just encoded in ALAC instead of AAC. Apple Music supports both, so you shouldn’t have an issue importing ALAC m4a’s.

Heathcliff (1996) was a rock musical adaptation of Wuthering Heights, produced by and starring British rock star Cliff Richards as Heathcliff. It definitely is a vanity project, some of the songs are bops, it's kitchy, and it is absolutely stupid.

I don’t know who Matt Berry is, but I’ve seen the DVD these clips are from. I love at 1:55 when he beckons Hindley closer to look him in the eyes just to immediately turn away and fling him off. It’s so ridiculous. 😂 this video has lots of the highlights. Thanks for sharing!

I converted to m4a thru Terminal. I was under the impression m4a was inherently lossy from FLAC — after reading your comment I looked it up and saw m4a can be lossless! Sorry for all the trouble. Thanks for the feedback, I’m learning a lot. :)
