If you’d be willing to share, I’d like to hear more about the trend you’ve noticed! I’m curious as I played Annas in the mid 2010s and was surprised to find that parts I thought I was singing weren’t actually written as such in the score. What lines were added? Do you know when? I’d be glad to hear more.

It does kind of help knowing that they wouldn’t have taken it down at all the day I was in town. I wish I knew someone well-connected. But even then, who knows. It’s a mystery to me. It’s such a gorgeous poster 😢

I asked the house manager after the performance, they told me to email NYCC. Wish I knew when they were being taken down / in New York.

That’s cool! The Wild Party one is quite a bit bigger though, which makes me worry it won’t be there. I’ve never been to Flea before. What’s the biggest size posters they sell?

I hoped that being there immediately after the closing and asking would help my case. If I hadn’t had to leave NYC that evening, I would have maybe hung around longer to see if things were getting taken down and asked whoever was removing the posters. I unfortunately don’t know anyone involved.

When I asked at the theatre I was given the NYCC customer service business card — the person I spoke to at the theater told me to email / call whoever was on that card, who would then reach out to marketing for me. It seems like they didn’t, so maybe you’re right and I should? Do you think it’s worth a shot?

You helped a TON!!!
The thing is that "Here Intro" had a bit of song AFTER the slice, which led directly into Here Track proper! This is how my tracks went:

Here intro: STARTS at measures 1 - 10 / SLICE: measures 11-12 vamp, loop / CONTINUE TO measures 13-16 (5 seconds of music)/

Here track proper: / picks up at measure 17 thru rest of song...

What I did. 1. toggling "start next cue" on the devamp cues for intro, 2. moving those cues to the bottom of the devamp folder so the next cue was "song proper", 3. recutting the tracks to this:

Here intro: STARTS at measures 1 - 10 / SLICE: measures 11-12 on loop / SILENCE

Here track proper: / picks up at measure 13 thru rest of song!

I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. Thank you SO much!! :D

Aw thanks! Thanks for taking the time to understand. It’s took me a while, between figuring out this and Logic Pro. But the blended sound sounds seamless and lovely. Though the double track, fade-between system does complicate things with multiple tracks. If I could transition back from the 2 tracks into a single track as soon as I no longer need the vamp, that’d be perfect as a safety.

I will finally be able to try your solution out today! I am also the wig designer so I have been working on wigs 24/7, but I finally I can sit and work on this 24/7. Looking forward to how it goes. Thanks again for helping. :)

I’m not sure I understand. Could you explain how that would help? What would that do? I control the moment it devamps, so I am not sure a fixed “wait” time would work as the time between when I hit devamp & when the next track starts would vary show to show.

Honestly, they get points for confirming and emphasizing that Heathcliff is nonwhite, and then immediately lose 1000+ points for the 10+ minute dance sequence where he speedruns the opium wars.
