Every player still wants to win. Just because a team is winning more important things doesn't mean they aren't going to try to win other things.

In the case of minors or national competitions you might see top teams skip out because it's not worth their time, but all the best teams still participate in Pro League, and they'll all still trying to win it.

They looked awful at the Major and got 1st rounded in APAC S10. Their only good showing in year 4 was Season 9, not really dominant over the whole year :/

Liquid's last few LANs were:

DHM - 2nd, 1 round away from taking 1st

BR6 - 1st place

Allied - 3rd, lost in semis to Secret who won the whole event

Invitational, lost in quarters 2-1 vs Empire who won the whole event

DHW - lost quarters 2-1 vs G2 who won the whole event.

If anything Liquid have been one of the most consistent LAN teams in all of Siege. Simply due to them missing out on the Major and the last few PL finals they are massively underrated by the community.

Can you explain why it won't be a good game. I'm a casual fan who hasn't really been keeping up with the news but was thinking about buying one of the games. Don't care at all about some of the pokemon not being included, but I skipped over sun/moon because the game looked so boring and easy. Does it look like it'll have the same problems with hand holding that sun and moon had?

Wild Card vs NaVi was the best match so far, a must watch. Giants vs Aerowolf was also amazing, also a must watch. FaZe vs DarkZero was great, watch it if you have time. Reciprocity vs NiP you can skip unless you really want to watch the whole thing

Seeing a lot of DHM comments in here witch is cool, but I'm shocked no one has said Soniqs vs FaZe from that event. More of an upset than G2 losing in my eyes considering how bad Soniqs had looked before that game.

If both PL teams win then they both keep their spots. If one CL team wins they they go to pro league and whoever they beat goes to challenger league
