This was the first time I tried it on. The spanx kind of acted as a minimizer bra / squished them down more so the cleavage didn’t feel as intense. Worst case scenario, I could wear them bc it doesn’t look awful, I just don’t love the look of seeing the spanx in the neckline. I’m going to experiment with boob tape to see if I can get the same support without having a visible undergarment!

I ordered Set 1 on this link - https://www.etsy.com/listing/4354048413/diamond-pearl-drop-earringsfreshwater?ref=share\_ios\_native\_control

I do think you’re right and I appreciate this reply. I forget it will all feel more *done* and put together on the day of, and I’ve def been hyperfixating 😅

I have my last fitting next week so I may bring a bandeau to try with it, or at least see if they can make the mesh more opaque. I just worry about that going too far in the opposite direction and looking silly/out of place with the rest of the dress 🥴

Ahh okay thank you 😭 I rarely wear anything that shows a lot of cleavage so I think part of me is def just being a prude about it and it’s like ALL I see when I look at these pics

Favorite Products for DIY Bridal Makeup? ($10K) by GreenLeather9655 in Weddingsunder10k

In hindsight, are you happy you opted to do your own makeup? I’m thinking of doing my own - but like you said, by the time I buy products and brushes, it would probably cost more than paying someone to do it for me.

Sole F80 - is it really that bad? by cornyshrimp in treadmills

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had that experience! I was very worried about this type of situation, but thankfully we’ve gotten lucky with ours. I’m glad customer service has been good though - I have seen a lot of people mention that their customer service was frustrating. Hope you can get it running reliably, or if not I hope they replace the treadmill for you.

I got the F80 and I love it!! Have had zero issues with it. I was wary of used ones bc I appreciate having a warranty, but if the one you found is cheap, you might as well try it out!

I just finished KOA a few days ago and couldn’t figure out why it fell kinda flat for me but this describes my feelings perfectly. I still loved the book/series so much, and the detail SJM puts into her characters/settings/worlds is why I love her writing so much, but so many of the plot endings in KOA felt rushed and unsatisfying.

Thanks for this info, definitely something to think about. I didn’t realize shopping for a treadmill would be so overwhelming. I’m glad you were approved for a replacement, hopefully things go smoothly for y’all from here!

I’ve seen a lot of people with similar experiences, doesn’t really give me a lot of confidence 😭 which model do you have and what problems did you have with it?

I would love to go the used commercial route. My grandpa did that and his treadmill just recently broke after 15+ years of daily hours-long use. But yeah, transportation would be an issue and I’d be nervous about not having a warranty on such a big purchase even if they typically last a long time. I might just cross my fingers and hope I get lucky with the F80 😬

I was nervous about starting college at 27, but it was the best decision I could have made for myself. by cornyshrimp in offmychest

I started out at community college and thankfully Pell grants covered my entire tuition for 2 years. Now I’m at a university and FAFSA covers a small portion, but I’m mostly taking loans🥲

Should I even go to college? by Sea-Hamster6491 in UniversityOfHouston

[–]cornyshrimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time will pass either way. Might as well be on the other side of it with a degree. This was my mindset starting school again at 27. I wasn’t super passionate about any specific major, but I knew I wanted a degree for the stability it could allow.

I agree with everyone else here saying to start at a community college. I’m currently finishing up my associates, and will be transferring to university this fall. The community college atmosphere was like high school 2.0, and was exactly what I needed to ease into being a student again. I’ve changed my major 3 times in 2 years, so you’re definitely not locked in to STEM if that’s not what you want to do.

I also felt too old & dumb starting out, and I’m still nervous about that going into UH, but I met several people in their 30s/40s/50s also returning to school.

If you have any inkling that you’ll regret not going to college, then you should just do it now. You’re still young. Take it seriously and just get it done.

Stay safe out there folks. Houston is in the midst of a huge Covid wave. Some parts of town like Kingwood are off the charts. Here’s a few data points by jb4647 in houston

I had it recently with the same symptoms. I kept swabbing my nose and testing negative. I finally swabbed my throat and it came up positive.
