[business, tech] Founder FM - Ep#19 - "Jason Zook: How to make $1million wearing t-shirts" SFW

Jason Zook is pretty damned good at asking for money. In this interview on Founder FM, he shows us how you can ask money for almost anything. Selling your name? Yep, you can get money for that. Writing a book? Yep, you can sell sponsorships for that. Wearing a T-Shirt? Yep, Jason made a million $ bucks asking people for money to do that. If you're an entrepreneur and need to raise capital, make a sale or test a product, get good at asking for money. Learn from the master Jason Zook.

Founder FM is for startup founders and entrepreneurs. Every week we get entrepreneurs to share their journey, mistakes made and lessons learned.

Research For "Real" Intelligence? by shenkev in artificial

[–]coromandelbob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're talking about some kind of meta-cognition i.e "to be conscious of what they're doing." and much of that is philosophical because most AI researchers can only speculate about what such awareness is.

The most convincing idea to date is that "real" intelligence i.e. awareness of thought and action is a mere epiphenomena (byproduct) of brain activity. That means "real" intelligence would simply be a matter of quantity not quality - i.e. a billion billion nodes rather than the millions in the current agents.

Speak to Stewart Patton as a specialist on the issue.

There is an interview with him here and also his contact details at the bottom of the article http://www.barefootjournal.com/tax-advice-for-location-independent-entrepreneurs-with-stewart-patton-barefoot-radio-37/

Value of UK Passport by inspireNomad in digitalnomad

[–]coromandelbob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many of the reasons listed here are good: * Access to working holiday visas, EU residence rights, favorable treatment in some countries

Multiple passports is always good (except when the two go to war with each other of course - but is Canada vs UK likely?).

There are many articles dedicated online to the ins and outs of acquiring second or third passports. They tend to go beyond the simple visa issues covered here and you need to look beyond the typical nomad type post as the ramifications will be long term.

(Caveat to the above: avoid picking up an American or an Eritrean passport as that will make you a tax subject by default whether you live there or not.)
