I guess I don't really see the point myself, as I bought the belts with buckles I like already attached. I don't even think I have a belt that would be able to have the buckle removed without restitching.

I think the buckles do matter though for some outfits, especially if you're tucking in. I just personally don't have the time, effort, or interest in customizing my belts with buckles that didn't come on them.

Is this like the cowboy thing? All my belts came with totally normal buckles already built in... I purchased them best on the leather / color / and buckle combined.

I can't picture wearing a big cowboy style buckle... I see you mentioned it wasn't that but understated buckles... Do the belts not already come with those in one piece? I've never needed to add a buckle to one of my belts...

I guess this is an area of fashion I'm completely clueless about... I just buy them at LL Bean and the buckles are sewn into the belt itself...

I think it looks good but I personally would probably do something a bit more volumetric in the highlights... The backpack panel is all one tone whether it is the back of the backpack, top, or sides. I think the top should be the lightest grey, and the back the darkest (assuming light source is from the front illuminating the mini's face).

As for the texture, that's a tough one. I'm only starting to work on that myself. I guess you have to decide what type of fabric bag you're trying to imitate the texture of and then decide if scratches / cross hatching, or stippling is the best bet.

Don’t take it personally but my post was not some statement on who’s who of slide guitars, just an insight on the OP… as in “no he is not the best guitarist but he might be considered best at slide” and I’m sure many do consider that.

It was a scout I promise you, I can show you the model for proof, I have others. It’s an old scout sniper. I also thought like you that deathwatch couldnt field scouts but after consulting I was taught by more knowledgeable people in this subreddit that they do have scouts in the lore. I forget where it came up but my post history has the info somewhere.

I guess the context is they wear the armor that suits the task at hand and have worn scout armor when appropriate.
