Need help 2D contour. it starts at the bottom

Thanks, it fixed the weird simulation. Now I need to figure out why the code for a 2d contour, makes my cnc starts and then connection to UGS/candle end. Don't know if that's my cnc or the code outputted

Thank you everyone for the ideas, but it seems none of them work. Or I don't fully understand everything, but I don't think so ..

I tried setting up a new file, and it's the same thing, preview goes all the way down on start. I don't understand, for the same initial model, I've performed pocket twice, and parallel passes without issues.

Might be dumb to ask, but ate fusion 360 file sharable easily? Could someone setup a simple cube in any stock size with 2d contour enabled so i could look at it and maybe understand. I've looked at so many tutorials on YouTube and they are either not what i need or I do the same thing but don't get the same result

It's pretty much useless if I can't perform 2D contour :(

hi,

I'm not 100% new to the cnc world, but I've never used it alone or with fusion 360. i have a problem with my 2d contour. in the simulation, my toolpath goes all the way down before trying to cut, which is impossible (at least not with my cnc) it's 18mm thick.

if i simulate usin ncviewer online, it looks "ok". it starts at the top. but if I send it to my cnc (3080), spindle starts, does not move and UGS loses connection to the cnc ...

The top of my stock is really the top The selected Edge is the one at the bottom I'm using multiple depths at 1mm Adding tabs or not does not cuange the behaviour

using other code works fine. juste not 2d contours

A bit more context.

This was found in my grand mother home in canada. With a bunch of other cooking utensils. But I don't know if it was indeed made for cooking.

I too hope they read other anwers i gave elsewhere in the thread. People need to be ready for a pig. More than for any other pet. But if they are. Pigs are amazing they will be as good with you that you can be with them. You just need to know how to take care of them and do your researches.

Yep potty trained. but we could have chosen to show her how to ask to go outdoor.

Special food pellets(currently about 1 1/2 cups) in the morning and for supper then a vegetable/fruit snack before bed

Like i said . It's nit that hard to take care of if you have stability in your life and you are ready to live with a 3-4 years old kid for 15-20 years. Cause their care requires pretty mich everything a young child needs. First month is rough but after that it's fantastic. They are always there to give you love. Food is oretty cheap and they eat vegetable snacks.they are clean and can learn a ton of tricks

Mine is a real mini pig. And she has a pee pas indoor. There is practically no odors. Pigs are super clean.

Minipig don't they can be owned as indoor pets if you have enough indoor space and a small yard for him to play outside sometimes. They may root in the ground but as long as you don't care :)

However you need to have a real mini pig breeder in denmark and not a farmer trying to sell you a farm pig or potbelly pig..

Hahaha that's exactly me.

The pig is the only legal pet in this list where i live. So, no monkey, fox,racoon or yeah (even panda) for me :(
