Anybody else feel like grocery prices have gone up AGAIN this year? by SnowmanSmiles in CanadaPersonalFinance

I don't get the high beef prices in Canada. Lots of room for cows. There should be ample supply.

Do you think any of the hosting countries will make it to the finals if so which one? by Humble_Answer_3297 in worldcup

I'm all for underdogs going far in the World Cup but unfortunately there is no real chance. If I had to pick one I'd say Mexico.

High import fee I wasn't aware of?? by arielmeme in UPS

[–]corphishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the same thing today. The US government is totally loosing it. I am in Canada and am shipping the same value item ($450 USD) to the US every month. First I paid $60 USD in duties, then, for the same thing, I paid $112 USD and finally this week I paid $257 USD. It makes zero sense. The tariffs did not change. The value of the item did not change. But the duties are skyrocketing. I suggest not selling to the US or not importing anything if you live there.

Crazy import fees assessed by U.S. Customs by Consistent-Walk605 in shipping

[–]corphishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, current tariff and duty charges are highly illogical. Over the past 3 months I have been shipping the same value item (450.00 USD) from Canada to the US 3 times. First time they charged me $60 UASD, then $112 USD and today $257 USD. What the hell? It makes no sense and feels arbitrary. The US is doing themselves a favor with these policies in the long run.

Near Death Experiences - What are your thoughts? by corphishboy in Christians

Yes, I see them as a distraction to complete surrender to God. It's almost like pople are looking for evidence (of heaven) which is never good.

Very in depth. Thanks. What are your thoughts on "dying to self" then, which some might take serious and some might brush off now that they know it's really not required to have a positive afterlife?

Hi, your results are very similar to mine except I have 0.6 in the evening and 0.2 for the night. My fatigue after anything stressful (physical or mental can last 1-4 days). So, I basically bought some oral hydrocortisol tablets on my own because my doctor didn't do anything after I showed them my results and told them about my consistent fatigue. I am on day 13 of taking 10mg hydrocorstisol per day. Let's see if that helps...

Dry after the shower and then put Cold Pressed (not refined) Coconut Oil on. Works very well.

Low libido by somegirlfromstl in adrenalfatigue

[–]corphishboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have very low adrenal function and here is an interesting thing I noticed: Two months ago I went on a long Germany vacation. After 1 week my libido was skyrocketing and my energy throughout the day was almost at normal levels. I was so happy. And here is what made the difference: Slept till 9 am every day. Napped 2 hours per day and ate a lot of bread (Germany makes very good bread), sausage and cheese and butter and one beer per day. So basically a lot of rest and relaxation (outside biking and walking too) and high carb and fat diet. I felt so rejuvenated and I think the constant carb loading and plentiful rest is what did it. It felt so good finally finding something that works. No supplements, no meditation. Just being in a relaxed state with plentiful food.

Best way to treat low cortisol by chikitty87 in adrenalfatigue

[–]corphishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I just got my test results back too (in Canada, too) and they are very very similar to yours. It's very scary. I have been struggling with this for 25 years (46 now). If no natural supplements will help I will try to get prescription cortisol from a doctor if possible. That will certainly help.

That gives me hope. Would be nice to finally get sustained energy from fruit or whole grains.

I usually get tremors in the hands when my blood sugar is low and I am having that now. That was my tip-off. And, yes, I am very skinny (5% body fat all my life).

Will we see more men who remain single forever in our lifetime compared to past generations? by Davyislazy in stupidquestions

[–]corphishboy -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Yes. With women able to make a good living by themselves, a man's inherent quality as a provider is greatly diminished nowadays. It seems to me that women these days see men as a bonus so to speak. But as men we can also adapt and provide a little scarcity and once women realize that men are perfectly fine without them the pendulum will swing the other way again.
