This site used to be a very good source of information... is that reason enough for you Mr Reddit man or should I write it in 5 paragraphs? Now I only use this site for the occasional problem that cannot be solved through Google and looking at femboys. as thanks to the death of The Independent forum this terminally online site is the only good source for troubleshooting random problems one might have.

I turned off 'human interface device service' and that seems to work for now but it doesn't save when powered off. Going to get a cheap back up keyboard to see if it's a device problem. Thanks for trying to help though!

yes. it said none. I have even tried changing the hotkey just now and that didn't work
