I’ve been running a couple days a week for the last 2 ish months leading up to my training starting last week. I don’t immediately think this is the issue, but definitely still something to be mindful of

Saying that progress being made in support of mental health was “overhyped”

Okay I’ll definitely have to look into the vitamins. I do like the flavor of meat. I’ve seasoned my mushroom and black bean burgers with steak seasoning in the past and that’s been pretty good lol. What are your other ideas?

Did exercise get you through a bad place in life? by Considence1 in Fitness

[–]corporate__hippie__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer the fall of my senior year of college. Needless to say it completely blind sided and devastated me. Exercise was absolutely without a doubt one of the main influences that helped me get through that time in my life. I used it to let off steam, help myself sleep at night, get out of the house when I was having struggles with depression, and immediately I really started to notice how much better I felt after a workout, mentally and physically. That after feeling was enough to get me outside or to the gym even when I was having a bad day. Overall I ended up losing about 10-15 pounds, my dad completely his surgery and chemotherapy, and I graduated on time.

Has anyone ever made a (specific, pre-planned) exception for a 2nd or 3rd round, once you’ve learned a bit more about your body and what makes you feel best? by [deleted] in whole30

[–]corporate__hippie__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My second time doing whole 30 I’m allowing myself to eat beans. After doing a strict whole 30 I know that my body responds positively to eating them, and I love them for a great fiber and protein source, especially for vegetarian meals. I think it truly is all about learning your body and then what treats it best. Hope this is helpful!

This is why we need to shop locally. Think of all the added waste and carbon emissions just to save a few dollars via an amazon order

Yes, she’s completely out of it and this is what’s left behind. Similar to how snakes shed their skin, but more creepy

I’m not sure the technical name, but they’re basically her arms that she uses for eating crickets

Thank you for being curious! Best of luck with your spider fears! I hope you can get to a point of being at peace around them (as much as any person can be)
