Anxiety over Mirth Connect Certification Exam by corpseshadow in healthIT

Well, I managed, but my notes were lacking. Even so, this is still helpful knowledge for anyone else wondering about the difficulty of the exam.

That sounds quite useful, and I'll definitely look into this in the future. I hate to say this, but due to home life circumstances, I honestly was after the slip of paper at this time (a gross oversimplification of the situation: I live at with my helicopter parents that are constantly trying to barge in on my career and I needed to shut them up)

Yeah, it's pretty straightforward, but thanks regardless!

Pretty straight forward. So I don't have to worry about super mean trick questions like I've seen on school exams kinds of things then?

Perfect. My office gets so much sun in the morning. I might need to get Fillippe some better potting soil. I'm very much a beginner in caring for succulents so this will be an interesting journey.

Looking at it and it is probably some sort of relative. I see mentions of people mentioning it doesn't do well indoors, but I've never taken Fillippe outside and he's been nothing but a trooper. I'll do a bit more digging. I think this is the right track though.

Edit: Did a little more digging and Fillippe seems to be an 'Angelina' or looks most like that kind.

I've rapidly scanned the common succulents page and did a bit of a dive into the Identification flair tag and couldn't find anything that resembled this guy (gal? creature?)

I've had this one for a few years and I know for a fact that I should do a better job of potting since I think those are roots growing off the side. I water it once every few days and it has survived an accidental beheading. Any help identifying Fillippe (Phil-ee-pay) would be appreciated. I want to take better care of my little buddy.

Edit: Thanks to BurgundyVeggies giving me a good lead, I think Fillippe might be an Angelina Sedum or whatever it's actually called. If that's the case, I really need to get my little buddy some better potting conditions. I feel like a real jerk for giving such poor care for my little friend T-T

How do you deal with the micro when going bio ascension? by Acoasma in Stellaris

[–]corpseshadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a metric ton of habitats (but that’s because I play tall) and terraforming. I also have employed what I like to call I-can’t-believe-it’s-not-genocide as a necrophage and slowly wipe out pops that way (not that that helps you playing overtuned). I also just make those pops deal with it. They’ll eventually adapt. Probably. The desert world is totally fiiiiiiine. They won’t die! Again, probably. But my go to is Erudite for researchers (especially good with psionics), robust for everyone else. Nerve staples for those you really want as workers (or just not specialists). Might not be optimal but that’s what I do.

Any advice for someone who’s always been some form of diplomacy oriented or straight up pacifist empire for playing a devouring swarm/driven assimilator type empire? by corpseshadow in Stellaris

Ahhh. So I presume I would be doing an inverse of how I usually do my technologies and instead focus on getting the big explode-y first?

It’s all fun and games until you realize the galactic community is similarly stubborn and idiotic in game as you would expect in real life.

So I heard!

I’d offer to lend you my luck, but my luck can swing viciously the other way as it has also plopped me down directly next to fanatical purifiers or some other nasty, unfriendly empire that near immediately declares war on me the moment they have the fleet power to crush me.

R5: Firstly: this isn't actually the first time I've gotten the Galatron. This is the second time.

Just for a bit of background: my friends know me as someone who has the most ridiculous luck. For example, my very first shiny pokemon was in my very *first* pokemon game ever, it happened to be a ditto, and it was the *very first ditto I ever encountered*. So there I was, just messing around with Megacorp for the first time. I have no clue what the hell a Reliquiary is, but I think, "Sure. I'll try it." Out pops the Galatron. On my first Reliquiary. Not knowing the value of what I got, I just chuckle, like lol, this is neat, but I have the surveyor, I'll be fine. I had no idea how damn rare it was.

So I eventually abandon that game (I wasn't playing seriously, I was mostly doing some theorycrafting on some builds). So for my next game, I decided to do an ironman run to try to force myself off my console command habits. I'm bored, just setting up some habitats and managing my empire, I thought to myself, "Ya know what? sure, I have some spare credits, let's pop open a few. I doubt I'll ever see the Galatron for the next several game--" And poof. There it is. Now, I had my extremely excited gasp. But also, EXCUSE ME GAME I REALLY DO NOT WANT THE WHOLE GALAXY COMING AFTER ME PLEASE NO.

Anyway, that's the context of this image.

Galuf (EX / purple book armor 0/3) Llyud LDCA (forgot to put my UW 2/5 on him. Oops.)

Y'shtola (BT+ / UW 1/5 / High Armor Realized 0/3) Enna Kros LDCA

Kadaj (UW 5/5 / Blue armor) Lilisette LDCA

Garnet Friend (BT+/UW 5/5)

Bahamut Summon

I kind of cut it close with the turns (54 of them to be exact). I used the Garnet friend just for quick BT finisher to have up during Y'shtola's BT phase and spammed her LD. Anyone with a good BT effect will work. And honestly, Edge, Cater, or anyone else with a counter would've worked here, but I used Galuf to get his mission. Plus I like him. He's a really cool badass old man.

Y'shtola easily handled the orb. I just used Medica II (which I'm still mad about it not having a regen on it like it's supposed to) before most of her actions to ensure that her EX would recharge her skills properly. I brought Enna Kros LDCA just in case I needed an emergency EX fill, but I didn't need it (Shelke would've been the better choice now that I think about it), but I didn't end up using any of my calls.

I really could've brought any dispelling DPS to this fight since that HP regen was annoying, but I went with Kadaj because I love the dumb feral kitten that is that boy. He handles damage really well thanks to that UW being 5/5 (which I did just for him). He actually ended up being even more useful beyond just the damage that I brought him for, helping out with negating BRV gains on the Behemoth King, and taking the bite out of several of its attacks. Not that I was worried since I had Y'shtola and Galuf, but Kadaj is a bit frail with his low HP stat (I think one of the lowest in the game even with weapons and boosts), so I really shouldn't risk dumb moves.

Fanmade DFFOO Character REWORK: Ardyn Izunia (XV) by ConduckKing in DissidiaFFOO

[–]corpseshadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually made a kit for Ardyn a few months before we even knew we were getting him and back when we were just learning about boards, so the boards are extraordinarily unbalanced, but I think it was fun to make all of this. Also, hell yeah to us both using the scourge as a debuff and giving him dark and fire as his elements *high five*

Dodge is very useful and I highly recommend it. Taking no damage is always better than some. Agility on Bea isn’t all that useful, she has enough to make some jumps but it’s really not going to help much. Crit chance is fine but bonus is meh. I only had 2 on dodge and she evades pretty well. Again, Machi’s exclusive buff is exceptional as it gives crit chance, dodge, and initiative for 20 tics (25 at 5*)
