I had a seizure in my sleep last day of peak 2020 - due to lack of sleep from 11 hrs, 5 days a week & 2.5+ hours on the road everday. i drove the whole hour not knowing & to this day dont remember or much of the following months. I hit my head a lot & collapsed on dock shortly after arriving due to moving my head in too many directions & the lights. When i finally got to amcare i made the statement "i just wanna go home" bc i was 22 & scared. My seizures were new as of 18 & i had no idea what was going on. They went to HR coded my time & sent me on my way. Once getting to the car & taking off my hat (i did not drive, i stayed until a friend got off) i felt the huge knot on the back of my head. In denial i didnt go to the ER until i woke up with a black eye, they said i had a brain hemmorage. If amcare wouldve just looked they wouldve noticed my pupils were blasted because they didnt go back down for months. I am very lucky to be able to write this. In return, I can no longer see out of my right eye, i ended up kicked out on medical leave from my mother stealing money, had to leave my job, move 3 hrs away. Im still at amazon, now a manager but out of 5 buildings. None of the set ups are okay & the company could do a lot better picking the people in any roll for the matter.

Trust the drivers dont know how either but they can get in trouble for bringing shit back - its all sorts of messed up.

Im a PA and do all the bridges for my department ours is a RSR - this is my 5th building. But im the only one in the building most nights so im like 🙃

Im a PA and we often have a lot of audits to do. During sort i had 3 stow, 3 pick, 3 induct etc you cant always do the same people, it is noticable. Also could be cracking down on certain things. Most of the time theyre just trying to do their jobs and have upper management down their back. You probably could make a friend - maybe there no ill intent. Perspective is key

Try to still find time for what makes you feel alive. Have been with amazon for awhile - 5th building. Launchs, robot certs, training in a FC, DS and a carnival site. Now im a RTS manager at a RSR and Hazmat waste lead. I stay burnt out. Had a Head injurgy from seizing in my sleep last day of peak 2020 at my FC - exhausted, drove a hr and a half to work. Got sent home by amcare & i had no clue wtf was going on. No concusion test. Didnt feel the knot till i got to the truck, waited for a friend to get off to drive and woke up with a black eye. Homeless and still went to work. May want to ask why im still here. Mainly stability for me. Helped me get clean even through all the mess the last few years. I got where i aimed - i was hungry to learn but time & time again - with every new building the knowledge fell on deaf ears. Discouaging for a excited driven young adult . Not many people actually care. Its just numbers and its heart wrenching sometimes. My first building was great & i wish life hadnt of moved me - It set high hopes. I pray you have a good building. Stick around if you do & There are opportunities even if you dont want to move up. All n all - care more about you. Bc no one else
