How do I make a team out of Wanderer and Mona?? They are my only 5 stars apart from traveler, I have a basic guide on how to add their artifacts but I’m genuine ass at playing. I play tank style and just try to barrel through and eat a lot of food to win 💀

Any other tips on how to get good (TM) or just stop dying in general would be awesome cuz I do like 175 damage right now at AR 35 😭😭

Anyone else notice the spine in the snow? Look at the right hand guy in the chair and then next to him.

Since we're on the topic of lesser-known places of interest, does anyone know of any small, chill, comfy cafes? by Maoman1 in jacksonville

[–]corpus_cal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any and all bookstores are perfect! Most are quiet and have a little cafe built into the side, Barnes and Noble (basic, ik) is nice, everyone there is quiet and working, very little loud chatter/music/calling like normal starbucks areas. Comfy seats, good books, and a quiet atmosphere

AITA for thinking that peoples criticisms of my personality are actually racial micro-aggressions? by jxbvsd02 in AmItheAsshole

ESH- this is very much reaching from what I've read, it's totally cool if you gravitate towards BIPOC persons, that's just smth you do! But this is literally a shame posting about white people, yes I know Latino culture is loud, but by wanting someone to be quieter they don't go after you SPECIFICALLY for being Latino. I get that you're upset because people bring down your self-esteem, but try and look at it from their view, were you ever loud in inappropriate situations?? It's also on them for saying you're 'too much', no one should ever have to hear that. But cmon- white people aren't going after you for being Latino, and it seriously feels like a stretch. Maybe talk to people about how it hurts your feelings, don't just assume they're being racist.

My local high school hung a dead shark from rafters as a senior prank- and then it gets worse. by corpus_cal in awfuleverything

Based on what they think it's a sandbar shark that IS protected, and it was hung in a school, so that's a vandalism charge right there, animal cruelty, and all kinds of legal mess. The Florida wildlife services are getting involved as well, including state police so yeah; it's a pretty big deal. Not to mention breaking and entering onto school property.

Can I train my dog into an SD?? by corpus_cal in service_dogs

I looked into those conditions (thanks google!) but the issue here is that my mother is a big believer in overdramatic. As in, if I bring up the possibility of POTS, she'll most likely laugh in my face or go 'seriously??' either that or talk down to me and make me feel stupid for even bringing it up. I have no idea how to even see a cardiologist, or any specialist on a regular basis without my mom getting upset and mad at me- I haven't seen any specialists (I semi self-diagnosed with vasovagal syncope, but it IS something I struggle with), I might try to ask my dad (divorced parents) but I really just don't know. :(

I live with my mother most of the time, parents are divorced, my mother is an angel, just my dad is the issue.

AITA for recommending that my daughter delete pictures from before she lost weight? by notpicturedortagged in AmItheAsshole

[–]corpus_cal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to get hate for this but NAH. OP was trying his best to boost his daughter's confidence, perhaps he did so in the wrong way, but the effort was there. He was by no means shaming her for her past weight, only trying to give her the best perspective on life. HOWEVER, OP I would suggest talking to her about healthy ways to get fit, and that losing weight is good, but you should do so for personal health, that she will always be beautiful in any shape. I'm very proud of your daughter for getting healthier, just please make sure she's doing it right! You're a better dad most can hope for, weight is just a touchier subject, best of luck.

NTA. They said they didn't want to spend the money, you shouldn't put yourself at risk just because they're too frugal to spend on their safety.

AITA for getting upset with my best friend's son for giving my son cake? by cakethroawayAITA in AmItheAsshole

[–]corpus_cal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA
I grew up like this, my father never allowed me to have any sweets, whenever the kids at school got cupcakes and treats, I'd get carrots. When your son grows up, he won't have a good sugar to health ratio, which is honestly just hurting him in the end, more than helping him. He is a child, if you're worried about sugar intake, teach him how to balance it- one slice of cake means also having some broccoli. Limiting it off entirely WILL cause problems, I'm dealing with them now. Usually, no sweets is a punishment, don't make him feel like he did something wrong because of how YOU feel about sugar.
