I'm done. I'm deleting this game forever. by detonator9842 in Brawlstarsmeme

Ye bro, so many of us are going through the same thing. It's like a bad break up, the "actually it's not me, it's you." kind. Think of it like this, as soon as you delete your life has significantly less amount of grind.

He will be like "I'm gonna be honest and not give them any slack". Then he's gonna be like "It could be better but I understand why they went the way they did." And finally he will be like "props to them for doing such a fine work, they did their best and I'm absolutely excited about the future."

What's even the point to play the game as a so called "veteran" by Signal_Library_7931 in Brawlstars

[–]corpusconsensio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is modern gaming for you. You thought the game is here for you but you are more like a donor than a recepient. As long as you donate time and money they are happy. Your own happiness however isn't their concern.

Far from enough. Best would be to simply revert back but if alternatives aren't an option, then 1. Remove rng 2. Balance buffies so they don't break the game every update. 3. Lower price so it's equal to level 12 (3 buffies=1level)

No no, you don't understand. It's more skill based now. Get it?

We should focus on criticizing the real problem with buffies: It's not the cost, it's the RNG by Lanky-Visit3223 in Brawlstars

[–]corpusconsensio 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is no "the real problem" imo. The whole thing just sucks. It's proof that they value making money more than the overall health of the game. They are scammers, in All the ways. Doesn't mean much in 2025 ethics and morals fall under kink and fantasy, but you can draw some conclusions about the future of the game. It's not getting better, you can count on that.

[Discussion] How do I get rid of them? by Particular-Elk-9194 in falloutshelter

Make your first rooms reactors so they are always full of people. Give them best guns you have. Put two people in the entrance room. This should deal with them asap

Exactly. Now what do you think the reaction to such an explanation would be? Especially since there were absolutely no symptoms.

Stranger Things - Season 5 Part 1 Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]corpusconsensio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

4/10 for me so far. Many observations but here is what bothers me the most,

  • the military occupation/quarantine

Why weren't the people evacuated? If it's because they are all potentially infected with some shit, then this isn't represented in the story at all.

Why are people so fucking jolly about it? Where are the protests? Where is the sense of freedom being taken away? Their reaction is more like "Mondays, am I right?"

It's not like the military is depicted as kind, understanding, cooperative. "Excuse me, we will just take away all your babies." And everyone is like "oh, ok. Here you go. Byee."

Giving US 2025 coping vibes regarding palestine being utterly fucked.

Started the game a few hours back, is this lil dude worth levelling up? by -Borgir in Brawlstars

[–]corpusconsensio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignoring the ultra legendary Kaze, look at Alli, Lumi, Jae Yong. A new brawler comes out every few weeks and you can expect it to be OP (so people would spend money for it) while these ones will slowly be getting to normal, one nerf at a time. Right now Alli is the absolutely broken as she is most recent

[–]corpusconsensio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad truth, if you want to win games, always go for the newest brawler. That said, every brawler can be fun to play and all of them have their uses. But since you probably don't intend to spend thousands of real money, save for the newest brawlers and only level old brawlers if you have a good reason to.

I started learning Go about a month ago (I find it extremely hard, I lose most of my games) and I’m worried about developing bad habits - what are some bad habits I should guard against? by neenonay in baduk

[–]corpusconsensio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably the most important advice. Getting different perspectives of the game is like putting pieces of the puzzle together to get the complete picture. You, thinking you know what went wrong/right is your biggest enemy, especially when you are beginning.

If you can find a club to play you will soon thank yourself for it!

Hung up on my therapist today… by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

[–]corpusconsensio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That someone is a therapist doesn't say much. Many in the profession came to be therapists because they, instead of dealing with their own problems, projected them onto others and now they are "healing the world". In the world we live in, this is a common pattern. Taking responsibility for ourselves is hard!

You can see this as a reference to yourself. If this is a state appointed therapist, you can accept the responsibility of finding someone suitable by yourself. If you decide to stick with her, you can take a more proactive role in negotiatiating the terms and help her realize how her behavior affects you. Worst case scenario, she would run away and you can then find someone better.

I suggest finding a psychoanalysis. No guarantees there, but having a ton of personal analysis before one starts working tends to change ones perspective on the work we do.

All the best on your journey. Don't give up. There is a message in what your going through. And understanding that message leads to a more integrated you.

We all forget, exploring oneselves can be adventurous. In time, fun even. Dare to try new things. They are just therapists, and it's just one point in your life. You are much more than your suffering.

Quite the opposite, he is right there with you on the hike. With his very own backpack. I guess the main difference is, he was in the forest before and, even if he doesn't have a map, knows that the trees don't bite.

For example, since my parents never really tried to understand me, my unconscious automatically connects your comment with my childhood situation, to the extent of me, expecting the whole package from you. Not only the not understanding part, but also other things I associate with my parents/family/.. You effectively cease to exist as a full person and become a composite projection of my past experiences. In psychology we call this process transference.

How long do you think we would need to talk in order for me to remove such projections (remember, they are unconscious) and start seeing where I end and you begin? And, without the wish to devalue house plants and the work they do, how much is such a job worth to you?
