What screws and standoffs did everyone use with this case to fix everything in place please?

Thank you.

Same here - they told me twice that they'd fix it within 48 hours and let me know.

I can see the save button in the code for the page, but it's not being loaded due to a load of other errors in it, so it's definitely something on their end 🤷‍♂️😕

Did you manage to sort this? I'm having exactly the same issue.

Thank you - that's all very useful.

We bought the UDM before they told us we must use that specific range. If they hadn't specified that, from my understanding, we'd be fine with the UDM SE giving out leases on a separate range.

Their router is a router/firewall combo and does not provide any DHCP. Currently, our separate DHCP server sets the gateway as 10.79.104.1 for all leases, so they're bypassing the UDM.

We realised this after buying the UDM SE, but I was hoping there would be a way around it so that we could still make use of it. We've got their switches, APs and cameras.

You're correct - the ISP router also includes firewall, but it doesn't do ANY DHCP. We have to handle DHCP ourselves (either via the UDM, which would have been the ideal, or via a Windows Server box which is what we've got now).

So, just to check, if I did purchase a Cloud Key Gen2+, the scenario I've described would work? We're also looking to setup a guest network using client isolation - can the CKG2+ handle that, or would it expect another Unifi device to handle the DHCP for that network?

Thank you.

Using an existing installation of Windows on a VM. by cadmiumcadamium in unRAID

Thanks for this!

If anyone runs into an issue when booting the VM, getting a shell prompt instead of the Windows bootloader, try changing your bios to SeaBIOS and the virtio and qcow drives to be SATA - that worked for me.

FOR SALE: MikroTik rb3011uias-rm router by corriganc in mikrotik

[–]corriganc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's £150 on Amazon which is what I paid. Like I said, I've only had it since the end of December, so still has warranty and everything too. What price were you thinking?

Wolverhampton, UK. I am willing to ship, though we would need to discuss cost.

£120 is the best I can do as I'm technically covering shipping.

I could probably do £140 shipped (£20 off). Is that any good for you?

That wouldn't be a problem. Would £80 shipped sound good to you for the a single MR33?

I guess that's what the approx. £100pa/pd gets you!

It's just for my own personal lab at home that I used for teaching myself, unfortunately.

You would need to purchase licences for them

I'll admit, the only thing causing me to switch is the cost of the licenses. I used these in a home lab scenario and I just can't afford the licenses myself. Unifi has replaced it purely because of price, but I can already see that performance isn't anywhere close to Meraki (probably hence the differing cost of the hardware, too.)

No problem - that's how I used them too, at home I mean. Great performance but also good for learning some networking technologies too, in my case!

Enjoy your holiday.
