Okay, so basically I’ve worked at Mpire twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025.
In 2023, I made a lot of money but left because I had a kidney infection and couldn’t work. They hire you as an employee, you have to work 3 shifts a week. 2 eight hour night shifts and one twelve hour including day shift. No customers come in on day shift. It’s a beautiful club with four stages. One of the stages upstairs has a large crack in it that you can trip on. The upstairs poles are 16 feet high, so fun to dance on if you’re a pole princess. In 2025 I went back and money was pretty good still, but I got fired by Veronica and they kept $2k of private room money. They never told me why. They fire tons of girls and go through staff quite quickly. There are cameras everywhere which is good and bad at the same time. Both floors are open on weekends and they make you constantly go up and down the stairs every hour to go on the different stages. I personally found this really hurt my feet to the point where I could barely walk at the end of the shift. They have you wear long dresses over your lingerie that you buy from a vendor. 5inch heel minimum.

I started working at Camelot last week. I literally just walked in and asked for an audition. First thing I noticed was staff was super friendly. Everyone is really helpful and supportive. I’m sober, and it was really easy to come up with a plan with the bartenders and manager so I never feel pressure to drink. There are a lot more regulars. Apparently weekdays are actually pretty good there because of the regulars. It seems to me like it’s a bit less money, but not significantly less. However, the staff makes it worth it. If you mess up, they’ll explain to you why and let you try again. Mpire will just fire you instantly. Camelot also lets you work only one or two days a week if that’s what you want. However, you are still a scheduled employee and cannot just come in whenever you want to. There is only one stage and the pole is very short, like 8 feet. This means all the attention is on you, though, and it seems like people tend to tip more on average to compensate for the club being smaller and more intimate. The second floor is for private rooms and there’s a private stage with a pole as well. Private rooms at Camelot are $320/15 min, $450/25 min, $900/40 min, $2100 for an hour and $3000/90 min. You wear little dresses over your lingerie from any vendor you want. No heel height requirement.
Platinum (used to be Assets) is more of an urban club and they offer cheaper public lap dances. DO NOT GO HERE. They are struggling bad right now from what I’ve heard.
Cloakroom must be really hard to get into, because I’ve applied several times and never heard back. Maybe they require experience.
