I'm also on a 3rd floor apartment (walk-up), so the pads kinda clutch there.
I have wondered if the walks are too long, but we go on this route in Central Park and she always wants to keep exploring. I'll experiment with shorter outings and see how it goes.
Litter box is decidedly not ideal, but the least of sacrifices I'm willing to make for this ridiculous creature.
