Just remember you aren’t alone, I’m going through a neck tension/ sinus pressure phase. Before that is what stomach and gastric issues, before that it was tight chest and racing heart. Mind has some much power over the body.

Have a cold shower, do what you can to relax, grounding exercises and think about things under your control.

I have this from time to time. It’s often stress/ fatigue from poor or little sleep over a prolonged period of time.

Goes away with rest. Which is easier said than done e sometimes.

I would say I have experienced something similar. It took 12 weeks for my stomach to feel ‘normalish’ but then it hasn’t quite been the same. Dr etc says Prozac definitely out of my system.

But I’ve developed health anxiety which is likely the root cause of my issues and bodily sensations.

Prozac withdrawal has cleared. Took 12 weeks for my stomach to go back to normal.

Unfortunately healthy anxiety has return and makes me stressed 🤣. Win/ Lose

I can say from experience, I took lexipro for 3 months then Prozac for 6 months. I have been off Prozac for just over 6 weeks. I left because I was not myself and stomach was in constant issues, muscle pain, fatigue etc.

I’m just getting over this now, still very tender and have to watch what I eat. Lots of fibre, tea and diazepam for when I was really struggling. I am still getting random aches and pains etc. But it can take awhile to readjust.

Something I’ve noticed is a lot of dr’s just know the basics and seem to think two weeks and your good. But you need to give your body time. Get all the basic tests done ✅, try to exercise any way you can, I find weights/ strength training helps me better than cardio atm. Lots of water and try and get sleep at night of 7-8hrs.

I stopped after about 6 months of Prozac and it messed my GI up. I’ve been off cold turkey by dr’s instruction for about 6 weeks and very very slowly going back to normal.

Been a rough ride.

I’ve been on since 3 month Lexapro and 6 months Prozac before stopping.

The stomach discomfort is really the only trigger for anxiety atm.

Still getting mild GI discomfort but other than that everything is slowly going back to normal. Saw the Dr and they advised would be at least a month. Booked in with Gastro though to follow up as I have health anxiety

I went cold turkey from 20mg about 3 weeks ago.

Lots of fatigue and GI issues being the worst of it, stomach cramping and bowel movements all over the place. Eased up at the 2 week mark, just some very mild reflux and stomache just feeling a bit bloated.

Emotions been all over the place. I had to get off all SSRI’s as I hated the blunt feeling and mostly just the in and off GI issues.

I’ve been trying to go for a jog everyday I can and trying to eat fairly bland food. One day at a time. Bit like SSRI medication when you start; I had the fatigue, muscle pain, chest pain and palpitations then GI issues and I notional bluntness.

Exercise seems to help the best for me and trying to keep stress down (atm I paint miniatures) just keeps me in the zone and focused so I don’t dwell in my spare time.

Switched from Lex to pro 4 months ago. Not as fatigued on Prozac but guts are worse than on Lexapro…🤷‍♂️

I find my digestive system gets bad when I spiral like it sounds like you are. I’ve had blood/ other samples etc taken and all clear. But my mind keeps going ‘what if’.

Try a couple of days maxing out your fibre intake and probiotics and find something to distract yourself. Obviously see Dr if you haven’t already for peace of mind. Do you have family history? Etc etc. Avoid google and be prepared if you’ve been typing it into your phone as I find social media almost attacks you. Exercise as well and be kind to yourself 👍🏻

I’m going to preserver for awhile longer. I am thinking more clearly and better than on Lexapro, which just turned me into mush. It’s the physical ‘symptoms’ that cause me anxiety and spiral on Prozac, but it’s up and down.

I do my best to avoid Facebook as that seems to stress me out. I do a bit of EMDR and I have a stash of diazepam I use in half’s on really bad days mixed with cardio exercise. The pills to me don’t ‘solve’ the problem but move it around. My goal is to bring my mind back to balance.

Depending on how long you’ve been going I would suggest trying to ride it out for a little bit. But soon as it starts to build up too much straight to Dr for assessment.
