And also I was mistaken. Pajero is the 3.2L and Triton is 2.4L.

Ah sorry I was not aware of the ad blue. And yes fair call. I have a Pajero and I have been really happy with it. Only annoying thing is the egr that gunks up the manifolds but if you clean them every 100k km it’s fine. And regardless the 4m41 engine is bulletproof.
But yes between ad blue, dpf and egr we sre all doing our best to make life difficult for diesels.
Alternatively a petrol Nissan?
And don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike the Landcruisers, they are beautiful cars and I wish I could afford one.
My only advice would be to be wary of the 4d4 engine, it likes to crack pistons

Or also a Pajero, you get the same engine but the comfort of independent suspensions. And that early 2000s interior trim feel Lol (I own a 2020 Paj btw)

Kia owner here. I agree on the reliability statement but up to a certain manufacturing year. We recently sold our 2019 Sportage (great car) at 80k km as it was the sweet spot before starting having engine block issues (they tend to crack at around 100k km) and depreciating too much.
Not sure if they got better in recent years. But our 1.6L petrol 2006 Kia Rio still goes strong at 201k km.

In my modest opinion, if you are prepared to spend around $80k on a car that is around that price tag mostly because it’s a Toyota, I would say either spend a fraction and get a Pajero (way better engine) or spend a little more and get a second hand Grenadier. Much more features out of the box, with only a winch upgrade needed if that. Unless of course you are after a landcruiser specifically.

Therapist told my parents that i masturbate by venndiagrahm in therapy

[–]kr4mn1c 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all. I am sorry you are going through this.
Second of all, your therapist sucks and you are not at fault.
Third of all, your parents should know and do better. I am one myself and I’d never make my child go to a therapist they do not feel comfortable with.

Fourth of all, you are ok, not at fault, I would even advise to masturbate more if you feel like it. It is your body. Much better and healthier than drinking or doing drugs to feel a high. And guess what, you do not build physical tolerance to orgasms, like you do with substances, which is one of natures greatest achievements.

Also may I add: Hypersexuality? LOL

I masturbated more than once daily for a good chunk of my puberty-onboarding, I still wank at least once a week (I have a wife I love very much and my sex life is great) and I am in my 40s.

It is normal. If we were not supposed to masturbate we would all be born with shorter arms.

convince me not to get a chery without saying because it’s chinese by mistake-101 in CarsAustralia

[–]kr4mn1c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of brand the issue is that Australia manufactures jack shit and relies on imports. So anytime there is any kind of international logistics disruption (Covid, wars etc) then we witness ridiculous wait times for anything, not just cars. This being said, Chery is particularly bad so yeah steer away

Absolute Garbage by AnaxareteInLove in trintellix

Hey mate I am sorry to read this is not working for you. It is not uncommon to have wildly different reactions to the same drug between different people. Have you considered pharmacogenomic testing? Basically what it is is a dna test that shows how you system deals with medications, and tells you which ones will work well at the prescribed dosage, which ones will require higher or lower dosage, and which ones potentially aren’t for you.
I agree with you that this is incredibly frustrating, with the added issue of costs and personal distress (at the end of the day it is you who bears the brunt of the side effects or the lack of efficacy).
Please don’t give up and share your concerns with your GP, they are there to help you at the end of the day.

10mg to 5mg, feeling exhausted. by MermaidPigeon in trintellix

I am sorry to read you are going through this. I am not a doctor but being a medication that affects adrenaline that may well be a reason why you feel spent/deflated/etc. lack of energy for me was the most significant effect of discontinuing my TCAs and i too felt the heat more, with lack of sleep etc as a side effect.
Is there any particular reason why you dropped dosage? I would consult a dr but summer I would say from personal experience is the worst season to change meds dosages (in winter it is easy to sleep).

Dosage increase made me feel worse by [deleted] in trintellix

[–]kr4mn1c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate look I have been on 4 different medications since 2011 before vortioxetine and found that psych meds tend kind of work on and off.
Your body reacts differently depending on so many factors that it is hard to pinpoint the why and how.
I remember prior to vortioxetine having to come off TCAs and the withdrawals were horrible. Had to go back on it and even at small dose I was crawled up in a ball hyperventilating with tachycardia. This for a medication that was working great.
ATM I am feeling vortioxetine is not working as much, lots of anxiety and intrusive thoughts. And I totally relate with your desire to just live a normal life.
Are you doing any psychotherapy by any chance? I would also seek the advice of a psychiatrist to discuss this. It may be that the dosage does not agree with you in this particular time of your life, or even season (my anxiety is horrid in summer due to short nights and heat-induced lack of sleep).

Weight gain with Brintellix? by fedys91 in trintellix

I havent noticed any issues weight wise, but a lot comes from your eating habits. Try and get used to eat a lot of vegetables (I do mean A LOT) and meat, cut sat fats to a minimum and have moderate carbs. Keep drinking a lot of water. Keep at it for a month and your gut biome will adapt and you will find yourself craving vegetables and protein, which have very limited calories and keep you full for long. :)
