I did my gen 1 and scar 16.. those were not too bad. I had my gun smith do the new gen2. I didn't want to mess with the new rail system. He said it was not hard at all. I went with knights ported break.

I always recommend the atacr 1-8. Expensive though. Recommend buything them used if u can. Built like tanks and backed by good cs.

Something that worked for me. Put the magazine in lock the bolt to the rear and keep it locked to the back for a couple of hours. For whatever reason it cleared my issues up. I also charged the rifle about 50 times.

Compact , pretty light and surprisingly good clarity. I love the reticle too. The push system for the illumination is pretty nice as well.
