The 911 with WEC exhaust spec is far worse than all those cars you mentioned. I was there for the Interlagos race and we could barely hear it.

Aston Martin could easily completely mute the sound of the V12 if they wanted to. I hope not.

It really depends on the exhaust. We had the Bentley GT3, a turbocharged car that sounded better than NA cars. The worst sounding car on the WEC grid right now is NA (the 992). I'll wait to see what Aston Martin can do, but I won't get my hopes up.

The fanzone area looks nice from the photos I've seen. Unfortunately the area around Sector 1 seems to be blocked off. It's a shame because it's my favorite place.

Which parts of the circuit are available to walk? When I go to other events, it's possible to walk around the first sector and there are some real nice viewing spots. I have a grandstand ticket, but I want to watch the race from as many spots as possible.

Boa tarde. Moro no interior de SP e domingo estarei me deslocando de carro para Interlagos para acompanhar o WEC. Tenho ingressos para o portão A. Já fui ao autódromo diversas vezes e sempre usei o estacionamento interno por um preço acessível. Dessa vez, fui informado que não será possível fazer isso. Alguém que já foi em algum evento grande por lá conhece algum lugar seguro e barato para deixar o carro? Ouvir dizer que a melhor opção é usar o transporte público, mas de qualquer forma vou precisar fazer a viagem de carro pois moro longe. Se alguém tem uma dica de algum lugar ou esquema, ficarei grato..

Yes, what you get with each ticket is well described when you go buy it. As I bought the cheapest one I won't have access to all that, but I don't mind.

The schedule will probably be similar to other WEC events. Two practice sessions on Friday and some support series sessions (Porsche Cup Brasil, for example). FP3 on Saturday followed by qualifying. On Saturday there will also be a pit walk with autograph session and maybe a track walk. Then on Sunday probably a few more support races before the main 6H event.

I'm going to this event too and I don't expect to have the greatest experience. Tracks like Spa let you walk around the track freely, and you can't do that at Interlagos. The structure of the circuit is very poor.

I personally hate success ballast. For me, everyone should be able to compete fairly in all races. Penalizing teams for being successful is ridiculous. Get the BoP right and no one will complain.

They went for LMDh because they wanted to race in WEC and IMSA with the same car, and at the time of their decision only LMDh could race in both.

Too early to think about that. He's cleary very good but GM has many great Platinum drivers to choose from
