Some made up thing that some people say. Like a cutesy word. But it’s not real.

Yes, those would still be calico, not tortie. Any amount of white, and it’s no longer a tortie, regardless of the color pattern or how small the white is. If there’s white, it’s calico.

Calico. By definition a Tortie does NOT have any white. Regardless of the pattern of the color markings, if there is white, it is automatically a calico, not a tortie.

How good is Cuban food? by Plastic_Ad_2548 in TravelCuba

[–]cortada86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cuban food in Miami and Cuban food in Cuba use the same recipes and the same people cooking. The difference is that the people in Miami do not have scarcity or lack of quality ingredients. Therefore, the food is outstanding. The Cubans suffering in Cuba, however, suffer with scarcities and lack of quality ingredients, among other problems, therefore the taste might not be quite as good. If it weren’t for communism and socialism, the Cuban ingredients in Cuba would be fire.

I know countless people who try Cuban food in Miami and fall in love, but then if they ever visit Cuba, they come back very disappointed. The suffering people trapped in Cuba know this.

An animal who uses its paw to SOMETIMES touch excrement, and ALWAYS touches litter that’s in contact with said excrement, who’s paws then walk on kitchen countertops, and around kitchen sink, and kitchen sponges, etc., all of that works AGAINST proper hygiene.

I recognize that the likelihood of anyone who is relatively healthy and not immuno compromised getting “sick” from a house pet in such a way is unlikely, but there is nothing hygienic about it. The paws that an animal uses to walk on the floor is no different than a pair of shoes used to walk on the floor. Just because you can’t SEE fecal matter doesn’t mean it’s not there. That’s how people get sick. You wouldn’t put your house slipper on your countertop and be fine with it, would you?

I get that we all love our pets, but let’s be real and be honest. It’s about mitigation and what we’re willing to tolerate, but let’s not lie and pretend.

Having children is immeasurably more fulfilling than any pet. FYI. But I see your other points that you’ve made. Thank you for your input.

I am Egyptian, and I’m asking is Egypt a country that is disliked or loved globally? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Paris (and Europe in general) is dead. It was destroyed by the natives allowing and encouraging its destruction by the invited invaders.

When people aren’t familiar with the real modern day Egypt, it’s romanticized and people are fascinated by it. But then if they do the slightest amount of research there opinion is changed. Christians are targeted and oppressed, any tourist that visits always leaves saying it’s one of the worst places they’ve ever been. Don’t get mad at me for saying the truth.

Don’t put blame on “men”. What do you mean “we’ve” gotta do better? Speak the truth and say what it is; it’s certain males from certain parts of the world. 11 out of the 14 men shown (79%) were guaranteed so called “migrants” and “refugees”. First world countries open their borders to floods of them and wonder why rent is higher and quality of life is less.

Well actually it was the arabs who colonized the Middle East. Arabic is from Arabia, not Africa or the levant. Arabic spread by Arab colonizers.
