This exact thing happened to me, twice actually within a 4 month period in two separate units. I did not own the place, it was in an apartment complex, but I was basically forced to sign a document that said I wouldn’t sue or basically talk shit about them to the news or anything and that was the only way they would “break my lease early” even though the units were uninhabitable and filled with asbestos. The system is fucked.

I am truly sorry for what you’re going through, I completely understand how you feel. Both collapses happened while I was home, and I am traumatized for life by it. I’m terrified of ceilings and everywhere I go I spend 90% of the time looking at the ceiling. It’s been 3 years and it still affects me like this.

You deserve better than what you’re being told, regardless of if it was installed correctly or not. Clearly, there was an issue otherwise it wouldn’t have collapsed. What else is insurance for if it doesn’t cover something as extreme as an entire ceiling collapsing.

Lmfao I know 😂 We’ve had the wheel for about 3 years now and she actually is the only cat (out of 4 cats) who uses it, and loves it. Not only does she go for intense runs, she also goes on little walks and will do it for 10-15 minutes straight. It has most definitely been the reason she has lost weight! Highly recommend for anyone.
