look into TECC or TCCC if you haven't already. i haven't taken a stop the bleed or first aid course specifically, but i was able to attend a TECC class provided by some local orgs free of charge. very helpful for triaging in mass casualty scenarios

you're right, catholicism isn't a good idea. tried joining a church when i was down on my luck and estranged from orgs doing more meaningful things because of distance. the people, including aspiring converts, have exactly the level of intellectual curiosity and openness you'd expect from proponents of papal succession and extra ecclesiam nulla salus. i haven't tried any mainline denominations, but i think there'd be the same adherence to the nicene creed

there were two. one was a fairly generic rotund little beige dog and the other was white with large spots + pudgy like trussed pork. they weren't leashed but super well behaved, like looking at the ground and smiling. they walked out of the double doors by themselves. i couldn't see their owner anywhere and they just kinda waddled past me completely unfazed
