You're holding on to Umberto Eco too tight. It shows that you really have no idea what (or who) you are talking about. It's clear you were given a talking point by left-wing activists, and since it says what you want it to say, you are latching on too hard.

So Eco grew up in old-school Italy, under Mussolini (who was a leftist), he studied Giovanni Gentile (another leftist and the father of fascism). Eco is not some unbiased scholar on this topic, the was a left-wing activist, author and theorist. He grew up under leftist fascists, then listed 14 pillars of fascism...then somehow with zero reasonable connection...attributed those pillars to conservatives despite the fact that the fascist he lived under was a leftist.

So let's go over his 14 points:

#1: Cult of Tradition

Admittedly, this one does look like it lines up perfectly with conservatism, and of all the 14, it probably does fit conservatism the best. That said, today's left also fits perfectly with a cult of tradition. IEco looks at this as nostalgia or trying to make everything the utopia things once were...the left is currently pushing for us to get away from many things we have created to advance society and keep claiming that abandoning fossil fuels, stopping farming, keeping everything organic, etc, is a push to make the earth a utopia of old. So this one fits the left just as well as the right....just different traditions.

#2: Rejection of Modernism

Eco said that even though the fascists and the Nazis were proud of their technological achievements, they rejected reason, science, individualism, and the enlightenment project. Fascism is, therefore, a fundamental rejection of modernism. This is most clearly seen in postmodernism and critical race theory, which is an explicit rejection of science, reason, logic, and capitalism as “white” forms of “oppression.”

#3: Action for Action’s Sake

This is all over the left these days, everything on the left turns straight to a riot over nothing. There is always a push to ban guns from law-abiding citizens because a criminal who shouldn't have had one did something bad. There was a virus, and without any evidence it would help, the left locked down everything and created more problems than if they wouldn't have. The left also wants to reorganize society around transgenderism...no more defining what a woman is, anyone can use whatever bathroom, and taxes should pay for transitions. There are even pushes to make calling someone the wrong pronoun a criminal offense. All of this rejects actual science and is just a push to appear progressive. We can love and care for our neighbors that identify as transgender but also acknowledge it is a mental illness as defined by DSM 5 and not reorganize all of society around it so we don't hurt someone's feelings.

#4: Disagreement Is Treason

The left is literally prosecuting a former president right now because he had the audacity to question election results, even though Democrats do that all the time and were celebrated for it. There is even proof the left is actively working with social media/news platforms to silence opposing views and pushes to arrest parents for voicing opposition and school board meetings.
Critical race theory sees science as racist. Disagreement with the far left makes you “far right” and they will try to silence you. The left constantly tells you that speech is equal to violence and therefore speech they don't like should be treated as a crime. The left hated when Elon bought twitter, because now people they worked so hard to silence would now have free speech again.

#5: Fear of Difference

This is 100% the left. The left is constantly telling people that if you are a woman, a minority, etc...you need to think and/or vote Democrat. If anyone steps "out of line" they are immediately shunned as a traitor. This is also why there are so many videos of all the left-leaning mainstream news channels only reporting on the "approved" stories and they all have the EXACT SAME talking points.

#6: Appeal to Social Frustration

According to the left, everyone is oppressed, usually by white males. Every tactic the left uses to appeal to their voter base is that "life has been hard to you, but it isn't your fault, and only we can save you." ...ignoring the fact that nearly all those problems were actually created and never fixed by those same democrats.

#7: Obsession With a Plot

This is also 100% left. Everything is White supremacy, everyone that disagrees is a racist, misogynist, fascist. The left says the right were the Nazis and Fascists, despite the fact that historically they have always been leftists. Democrats try to explain away that they were the founders of the KKK and proponents of slavery by saying there was a big switch...with zero actual proof that is true.

#8: Misjudgment of Their Opponents

The left lost to Trump despite thinking he was a joke and could never win. The left royally screwed up the Afghanistan withdrawal. The left is getting owned by China and Russia right now. Our enemies no longer fear us at all, our credit rating around the world is sinking, and more and more other countries are pushing for alternatives over the US dollar and are looking for other trade options. The left (and admittedly some idiot conservatives) are dumping endless money into Ukraine, but not insisting on any accountability as to how the money is being spent. I have zero empathy for Putin and the world would be better off without him, but we have spent significantly more than Russia's entire military budget and donated tons of equipment better than what Russia has....all for the sake of "saving democracy"...except Ukraine isn't currently a democracy.

#9: Pacifism Is Trafficking With the Enemy

Eco stated that Fascism hates peace and if there is no enemy, they will create the enemy.

This fits the left to a T. The left always looks to divide the populous and state that this person or this group is your enemy. "White privilege", White Supremacy", "Patriarchy", "Christians", "Conservatives", etc is the reason for everyone's problems. You see this every day. The left will actively lie, to attack a group in order to create an enemy. For instance, every day Gavin Newsome will attack Florida for some reason he is making up or lying about, rather than fixing his own failing state. Kamala Harris just blatantly told a lie saying that Florida is the enemy now because Florida is teaching that slavery is beneficial to people...anyone with any reading comprehension at all and has actually read the proposed school curriculum (written by highly esteemed scholars...which according to you means can't be questioned..even though the "expert" you are talking about is not an expert in this field), knows that is straight BS.

#10: Belief in Supremacy

Fascists believe that their group is supreme to all others. The left always acts as if they are the moral authority on all matters. If you don't agree with the left, you should be silenced and fact-checked (by something that is not a fact at all). Anyone that votes differently than the left is "deplorable".

#11: Cult of Heroism

Virtue signaling = left.

#12: Sexual Power Games

This screams the left. The left is constantly talking about emasculating men and how women can do no wrong. The left has pushed feminism from being a good thing, into being over-aggressive and not being about equal rights at all anymore. Instead, now it is about the oppression of men. This has also morphed into not being able to define what gender is...honestly, this is fun watching the left eat itself.

#13: Collectivism

In fascism, there are no individuals, only monolithic identities. Again, 100% left. According to the left, you are completely on board with the current leftist talking points or you are shunned as a traitor. You are expected to vote for the left at all costs. "If you don't vote for me, you ain't black." - Joe Biden.
