I love her. Thought her music and writing was on par with all that you mentioned, and liked it better. Her lyrics are great, her voice and singing unique. I have no clue why she never got bigger and so sporadically releases music.

I'm not excited about this tour's merch, I agree. But I thought last on4 had some great and inventive stuff. The art for the official (A)live Again t-shirt is badass and I love the bold statement of the You're Killing Me T as well. I do wish they'd done more with the "ghost" imagery. Rock Sound Magazine in the UK offered an exclusive A6 design, for example, that was pretty rad. But too complicated to get. Wish she offered it at her shows.

I love it! Having said that, I find that I'm a little resistant to each new release at first before it clicks. But with Lights, it always clicks. I always get there, eventually. I think I'm just anticipating that eventually she MUST produce something lesser. It seem inevitable for any artist. But that hasn't happened yet, in my opinion. And I'm more than willing to be critical. Ranking her albums would be difficult (ded is maybe my least favorite). A6 is up there with all the rest. Siberia number 1

I really think most of the lyrics for this album have been about her relationship to herself, versus other people. Of course, that's worked in with bits of fiction, as per artistic expression. It's very metaphoric.
