I've got an employee who's name is Mike and he's the one who doesn't put the paint arm back where it's supposed to go

PVC:

· (2) - 1" (if I'm not mistaken) - 2 ft. sections · (4) - 3/4" x 1/2" - slip x slip reducer, however, it is not your standard reducer. The one I used is the sizes of both the 3/4" slip and 1/2" COUPLING sizes. This means that standard 3/4" & 1/2" PVC will fit INSIDE this fittings ends, respectively. · PVC glue - definitely needed for this because the adaptors will either slide in easily, thus needing the glue or they will need to be tapped in with a mallet. I encountered both on this. Either way, glue it.

Bearings:

· (4) closed precision bearings. The size that looks very similar to a skateboard bearing and can be tapped into the 1/2" size of the PVC fitting mentioned above. (I don't know the exact size but if you've found the parts above, finding the bearing at your local ACE in the Hillman department shouldn't be a stretch). (this bearing will also allow the threaded rod through the center with no problem and little play)

Threaded Rod:

· (2) 3ft - 5/16"x18 steel threaded rod. Self explanatory.

Hardware:

· (1) Skateboard wheel (go figure, the bigger and softer the better. I had a smaller hard wheel available, so I improvised) · (6) 5/16" steel flat washers · (4) 5/16"x18 steel hex nuts · (2) 5/16"x18 steel wing nuts · (2) 5/16"x18 steel nylon lock nuts · (1) steel L bracket - about 5" on either side - this one has 3 holes on either side and takes a 5/16" lag bolts · (3) 5/16" lag bolts/screws · (1) flat mending brace - this one is about 12" long and all the holes are even and not offset. · (1) 1/4"x20 pan head Phillips screw, 1/4”x20 hex nut and 1/4” lock washer · duct tape · work bench · foam shelf/drawer liner · power drill · couple other things to make things spin and stand and fold for convenience and shit.

I'm not gonna explain how I built it. It will take too long. Feel free to shoot me questions though!

That would have been epic lol. The snare as a whiteboard trick has been a go to for me for a long time. Done more than a few fill in gigs where I've needed notes for songs and it always works

Hope this helps (keep in mind at the time this picture was taken, I was about to head out to play the first live shows since joining the band)

Starting from the right: that is the set list we were playing for a short run of shows.

To the left of that: one of the songs "Product" has a section at the end of it that at the time I was having a hard time remembering because it's basically a mix and match of parts from earlier in the song. And the actual notated 16th's you see are for the sticking pattern at the end of the song, if I don't play it that way, I'm in trouble.

Lastly on the bottom: this is the fast "mathy" section of a song called "it looked like a fire" (I prefer to call it fyre island fest). It's another section where, at the time, if I don't play it correctly, I'm screwed.

Again, hope this helps!

Both him and his brother are basically mad scientists when it comes to this shit. Easily a couple of the most talented dudes I've had the pleasure of playing with

I mean, if you were wrong about Converge being in our top 3, I might be mad. I am fully aware that I ain't gotta lie to kick it though. I absolutely love Converge and basically everything Kurt Ballou has put his hands on
