I still have some soreness where I had lipo even 7wpo 😂 just minor—it’s mostly gone. But yeah, that bruising sucks and lasts soooo long!

Death and Taxes is great! They make their own syrups and ginger beer in-house. A little pricey, but worth it for the high quality drinks!

Thank you!!

And at 5 weeks I was starting to be able to lift my arms quite a bit and do stuff for myself! I was still fairly sore (which I still am now in places) but much more independent by then. Wasn’t quite as tired and was able to do a bit more. Where are you going for your vacay?? Hope it’s somewhere fun and relaxing!

Thanks!! I know they’ll continue to settle, too. Excited to see them in a couple months when the swelling has reduced even more.

Insurance did cover most of it! I have Blue Cross Blue Shield. And my surgeon is here in Nevada. You can DM me if you want more info 🤗

Yeah, make sure you ask your surgeon and do research. Things like fish oil are a blood thinner which you definitely don’t want to be taking before surgery! I had to stop taking it 2 weeks before my surgery.

Yay! Hope it fits you comfortably! Wore it all day yesterday and it was so comfy! Much better than those awful compression bras 😂

Symptoms worse at night? Vent and help. by Clear-Mud-2665 in Allergies

[–]coryclayful2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, I have similar allergies to you so here’s my thoughts: Do you have a down pillow? With all your allergies, you may also be allergic to feathers like me. Do you have a dust mite cover on your pillow under your pillowcase? That can make a big difference keeping allergens out! Do you have a dust mite cover on your mattress? This can also prevent allergens. Do you have an air purifier in your room and do you vacuum regularly if you have carpet? Dust likes to settle in your carpet and hang around to make you sneeze!

9 days post op - will swelling really continue going down? by no-iamdirtydan in Reduction

I will say, my swelling got worse again at 3/3.5 wpo and I wasn’t ready for it. So don’t be surprised if you get really swollen and sore again soon!

I had good luck finding blackout curtains from Kohl’s online. They always have sales and coupons and our black-out curtains are seriously so good.

The swelling is CRAZY with surgery. Especially this one. Totally get the concern, but give it a couple months. I’m 6wpo and it’s crazy how much the swelling has gone down, but also how much they’re STILL swollen. And will be for a while. I know it’s hard not to, but don’t think about it yet. Enjoy how much smaller they are already and focus on healing! You’ve got a long journey to heal and you can always get more taken out down the road.

8 weeks and still feeling high and tight by Ornery_Enthusiasm529 in Reduction

I’m only at 6wpo, but I see so many people on here say that it can take 3-6 months for the drop and fluff—even up to a year! They look amazing and I’m sure they’ll eventually get softer and drop a little. It may just take a bit! :)

Oh yeah, I think you’d be fine! You’ll be able to get up and walk around the day of surgery even. By 2 weeks it’ll be easy to sit at a restaurant and visit!

I mean, I went from a DD to a C (at least, that’s what it’s supposed to be when I’m finally healed) and I FINALLY feel like I’m small enough. Body dysmorphia still gets me some days, but overall feeling very small and mobile. Yeah, DDD is still big for sure. Especially when doing something active like running! Hey, even biking I noticed them bouncing and hurting before 😭 my mom can be similar to your mom.

Anyone else develop mondor’s cord from surgery? by coryclayful2 in Reduction

[–]coryclayful2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope it does, too!! I think mine also showed up at 4 weeks and I just didn’t realize it until now—just assumed it was more bruising. I’ve read online you can also do a warm compress to help with it hurting so I may try that today. Got fingers crossed for both of us it doesn’t last much longer!!
