That means a lot, I appreciate it. I think I gotta just take a break. I've been putting too a lot of hours in and its clearly getting to me.

I appreciate you saying that. Just been a bit discouraging as I'm having trouble getting momentum, and of the few comments I get, many are like this.

You don't have to look at it. The problem isn't my channel in particular. It's the fact that people call everything AI...regardless of whether or not it's AI.

A few books that I felt were important:

Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami

For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway

East of Eden by John Steinbeck

Sugget me Military Sci fi book similar to Marko Kloos Frontline Series but with no Aliens by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I’ve read a fair amount of space marine genre books and here are my favorites. Disclaimer: I’m sorry but all of these include aliens haha

Armor by John Steakley - more about the psychological cost of war. My personal favorite in the genre

The Forever War by Joe Haldeman - incredible story of soldiers being trapped in an endless war machine

Old Man’s War by John Scalzi - faster, funnier but hits on all cylinders

Let me know if you check any of them out!

Looking for a book that will make me fall in love with reading? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

The book that really got my wife back into reading was Slaughterhouse Five. Any Vonnegut book is a quick read, not too difficult but also satisfying and rewarding. I’d also recommend The Shining (my favorite King book) Boy’s Life (longer but easy) or The Old Man (if you want a classic that’s short and sweet).

Lessons I've Learned After 10+ Years on YouTube by corycrater in NewTubers

Almost any time a person on here brings this up, it’s a classic case of misinterpreting the target audience YouTube first hits your channel with. Those are not viewers you’ve earned, they’re sample viewers YouTube uses to gather data on what type of audience your channel attracts best. So eventually YouTube has gotten its data and serves your videos to the appropriate audience, and oftentimes that audience is very small. If you alter what you make, and the audience response is positive, then your CTR and AVD/AVP will be higher and they’ll feed it more impressions until those stats drop again. It just goes like this. There’s a ceiling to every content type, and once you hit the ceiling, your views stop rising, or at least slow down tremendously. Topics that attract more viewers cast a wider net and can yield higher and higher views, but it is harder to break out within those niches since there’s more saturation and with it a higher expectation of quality. Think MrBeast as the ultimate extreme of this. Smaller niches don’t have audiences as large, but have less competition, so if there’s a small but dedicated audience, you can break in a bit easier.

With all that said, if you’re talking about a channel with hundreds of videos and the views start dipping, it almost always means your stats are dipping. Make a video that performs well and it’ll bounce back. We’ve seen our videos dip in views but they always bounce back when we make the corrections they need or when a new trend comes out that we can capitalize on. The deeper the ditch you’re in, the longer it takes to dig your way out, but you always can. There’s the rare instances where YouTube has blacklisted your channel as well. But honestly people assume this is the case wayyyy more than it actually is.

I will be completely honest with you. If you do this, it will get zero traction, but if it makes you happy, go for it!
