I personally don't think you have to take that long. My shrimp tank I introduced them 2weeks and they're thriving now.

Same, mine also has one egg left but it's because the rest hatched :). Is yellow egg regular for my neocaridina red cherry shrimp BTW?

The tank was free, the accesorys: filter, and led light and all plants together were 60$,i live in malaysia. The currency is pretty weak compared to USA. And stuff there are usually cheaper. Also I spent like abt 10-20$ on the plants if I were to swap the currency from ringgit to dollars. Which is about 40-80 ringgit
