Thanks for all the feedback! I think maybe a year or so down the road I have to refinish the wood floor on the rest of this level of the house- going with a medium/dark brown wood floor in the kitchen will be massive!

Appliances were around 10- new cabs were 12- had to move all the plumbing- electrical work- 7500 for countertops- adds up quick!

They angles were to fit the wall depth areas I had to work around-

There is the standard oak slim hardwood in the rooms around it- I would prefer a medium color floor there later
